Man, I get scared just looking at it. Does it bounce or swing much?
Thats some weird looking rock bro
neat, but the camera person should have changed the angle slightly and stayed out of the shot.
Forget the socks already! :)
We live in Alaska, its not exactly sweltering here. Besides, his subscription to GQ was not renewed so he missed that fashion tip.
I wish I could see some of the detail of the actual picture and not just the effects...
No rope needed for Free-Soloing! Fall=Death!
I like the idea alot, and it is pretty, but there seems to be too much black to me.
"play around" on .13b, my my... pretty amazing!
Climb faster girly! The hand is about to getcha!
Now if that were spread across his back....
I think he looks like Tom Cruise a bit.
The only thing holding him up are the crystallized nubbins, and that big 'ol heel hook, and that rope... Sharma, hangdoggin'it!
This defines desperation. Where's your spotter bro?
Is it just me or does the angle of this shot seem all wrong? Seems like it should look more vertical.
Cool shot polarwid! A neat balance of colorful and drab. I am actually glad we are done with those long days. Now I can get some sleep!
Who's the goober with his paw in the air?
Is that an invisible boulder yer on dood? :)
Rad, look at that guy go!!!
Sit start or deep water start?
edited - Nice pic Ashley. Forget my comments about the setup. I get it now.
For the Pirate. Good photo, not great. Lack of single subject distracts me. I would like to try the route on the right, it looks like my style!
Would be a ten if you would have asked the bird to step to the left a bit...
this would be strangely hilarious if it makes the front page....
I don't mean to be offensive here at all, but...
I commented on your thread when you were debating doing dreads that dreads on white girls just don't work. (generally speaking) I stand by my comment, I think they look worse than I thought they would on you. I think you are cute as a button (whatever that means) and I positively love red hair on girls, so I kind of think you are wasting the beauty you were given naturally.
Micah, this picture is taking from just underneath the wall at Weiner Lake (the very top of the boulder field) looking pretty much due south. I don't have any maps of the area, sorry..
The moon was there in all it's splendor. I have some other shots that show it too. beautiful.
Are these comments on a photo or is this a message board?
Is that guy a Bobblehead or what?
Soften and/or feather the shadow on the little you and then apply a very mild blur over little you to better match the softness of the rest of the picture and you would have a more convincing composite. definetly do something to de-emphasize the feet! :) As it is, it's great!
Flirtin' for certain she was. She actually put her nose inside my front door just before this pic. I tried to push on her nose, close the door and get a picture all at the same time but all I got was a severe close up of fur!
Kodos, let me put it in perspective. I am 32 feet tall.
She climbed my front steps...
What's that, like third class?
Is that melted Ice Cream dripping down the rock?
Moose Hickies??? YIKES!!!
NO, I will not be doing that anytime soon! The picture alone gives me a feeling somewhere between crying and throwing up. My instinctual reaction was to grab my laptop real tight and hang on so I wouldn't fall. I'm glad I didn't break it!
If that strapping young man would just turn around, you could hop on his shoulders and ride him to safety...
LOL, micah. I did tell her to go take a nice nap in my shed while I went to find my butchering tools but she would have "NONE of THAT!"
Drew? Drew? are you alright? :)
Do I look fat in these pants? :)
looks like a spiffy little route!
Boy, I sure make slab look hard, don't I? ;)
I think I was on lead here... If so, there's no way he could have ate dirt, he would have been waaaay to busy extracting himself from the first bolt. LOL. Besides, the angle here is very deceptive, the rope is more vertical than it looks, alot more.
It's not in the SCAR. It's got shiny new looking bolts on it, unlike that nasty buttonhead to the right of Chad...
I sure look a lot more calm and collected then I felt there... I guess I can see now why I thought that might be the crux :)
Stop. You're confusing me.
I hate that route... It spanked me and I don't know why...
You sure make slab look hard...
ouch ouch ouch ouch
As a part time partner (climbing only) of Cgailey, I hereby attest that he would make a terrible chick.
Eeeet makes we Woooozy...
Needs a climber
Man, I'd love to have that tree growing out of my back on a hot sunny day. Pretty picture 'cept for the tree placement
Yup, the focus bugs me too
Hmmmph, must be easy..
It's amazing because it captures the very essence of being outdoors for me. That breathless feeling of taking in the whole world from atop a snowy vantage point, breathing clouds that you could practicly step on, the richness of natures color palatte all exploding on your senses... Unless you have stood in that picture yourself you probably won't understand no matter how it is described. Go enjoy your own favorite pictures berserker, we won't belittle you for what you enjoy. (BTW - 10)
I've seen Jeff send it. Looks Haaaaarddd. (of course it's all hard for me)
