nice resolution, still a butt shot
I'll upload the Hot September pics later this week... after I took a huge whipper clipping the chains on this one, I had Walter lead that one.
Great light and good angle, maybe scan it a little sharper and I'll "10" it?
Jhump, the ethic at Wild Iris is.. oh, hold on, there is no ethic at Wild Iris! Comfortize holds, bolt cracks, it's all good, baby. I don't want to go ahead and defend that ethic, I just take the pictures, eh?
Sharp, sharp, sharp, and cool rock too! Where's the face?
Usually I don't like clipping shots, but this one is good. Too bad he looks close to the ground. The color and the sharpness are excellent though. This might be the best picture of a man in tights on the website.
nice sky effect
don't get the ropes
great light, i wish there was a little more color...
If I could do it all over, I would have left the thing unbuckled. Burning your hair sucks.
color: great sharpness: great still a but shot, but a pretty one
Body position is telling, and I like the background. So that is what SR looks like...
Word to the young at heart! You cant fck with Chuck!
Good use of light and a good scan. I'll be durned. I love how the sky goes from deep navy to just a shade of light.
Hell yeah! Mexican limestone is good for grippin and good for clippin
OOOOOOh take me to Josh. A favorite climb. Look at the sky. Whatsupwitdat? What a beautiful rock. ACK!!!! that 11R face on the right just scared the bejeebers out of me!
I'd like to point out what makes this pic good--light plus angle. Climbnow, you did a great job. Other users, news flash, you could take this pic even with a cheap camera. This is not a diss to climbnow, its battle cry for the rest of you. Get out there and go for it!
Sharp and purdy. A humble suggestion, don't put the peak smack dab in the middle. Lots of negative space. Good color.
This pic is great! That said, in a friendly tone, wtf is that dark object in the foreground make it leave!
Anasazi's in a crack? OWWWWWWWW
OK, OK, I'll be the first to ask... What is the rock like on the massive roof in the upper half of the photo?!!?
Black socks and Anasazi's... ha ha ha Euro-climbers
Beautiful beautiful beautiful... I have to do it!
Hell yes. Southern sandstone represent to the fullest. Did you sepia this or is my monitor just funny today?
I can feel the testosterone ooze out of my moniter...ewwww
I like this better than most of your stuff... the expression really does it for me. Good job.
F---in' jug haul... post something hard why don't you?
Bvb you can't fool me I know you are a psychologically repressed sport climber. I bet you are fondling your Dyna-Flex right now.
Ahh, the wide-angle is so abused so often, but not in this sweet shot. Mad props. I can't wait til school is over and I start shooting slides again (instead of negs)!
Purple rock? ACK!
Nice shot, I wish the horizon wasn't going thru his head!
This just in: Ghoul-Man climbs 5.11b, first undead to send the grade.
Just the basics on this trip (all I had was what I could carry on my back): 50mm lens on my Minolta X-700, Fuji Superia 400.
Is he roped???
Overall, they vary.
Heresey--40' face plus 20' roof?
Rage--30' face plus 35' roof!!!
Born on the 4th of July--120'+ ???
I remember that day...just left the Loft and looked up. Looks like I should have busted for the Tunnel, eh.
Golden Locks...climbs like Yosemite, rated like Yosemite.
yea-uh. euros flailing shirtless in limestone cracks. word to the continent.
Great to see you still climbing, Laura! See you at the Red?
Original way to see what could be an extraordinarily boring shot. Nice work.
cropping out the tree would make this shot the bomb.
simple shots can be bitchin'....just wait for good light. nice job.
Great example of learning how to "see." Thank you for the deep shadows.
Near what state/city?
Hey, I'm cool cause I talk $#!& on the Internet, woo woo. Thanks for the profound insight, spraylords.
AKA the Sharminator....
Looks like someone's been reading Climbing magazine...
Vision + Ability = Results
I guess you guys are into Type III fun. Cheers!
Take me there!
Climb as empowerment--this photo lifts my heart
um, its a JOKE
I don't get it>>> where's the line? Whole thing's contrived, if you ask me!
I like how you can see the rope but not the blackness behind it.
Sweet ice, with the added bonus of not being another bouldering picture.
I am from Georgia. This guy is not kidding.
One of your better shots, I must say
The best climbing is rarely the climbing.
This photo should be called "Top 1,000,000 Reasons to Climb Outside the Gym"
YEAH!!! (and it ain't bouldering either!)
What a cute little climb!
Yes mom... this is trad climbing.
A butt shot that doesn't suck. Score one for Chad.
I think you would looooove ice climbing.
Background: Nice in a picture, but I'm glad its not my crag!
Clean, even lighting throughout the picture. Nice shot!
No, how YOU doing???
Clearly this photo is b´tchin'. Nice tonsils, bro.
Nice pic, J. I think it has crossed the line from a photograh to a photo illustration, but the result is pleasing. You should try panning sometime, I think you'd like it.
Mel Gibson, hell. Is that Cody?
