5 out of 5 stars response to question: "how high up r u?"
I think the whole route is only 75 feet or a little less and I am about 2/3 or 3/4 of the way up. I'd guess I'm maybe 50 feet about my starting point but obviously a great deal higher above the valley floor which gives you the feeling of more exposure than you are actually getting.

if you should climb while pregnant, it also stands to reason that you shouldn't climb after giving birth for fear of leaving your child motherless. You should alos not clib before you are pregnant for fear of denying you not-yet-born children the right to life.
In keeping with this "logic" no feamles should climb....ever.

Get real people.

Climbing has different levels of risk. If you are well within your ability at a local crag no problem...if you are doing a 5.11 free solo that's a different story.

My guess is she's lead this climb before and it's well within her ability. it's no different than some other mothers going on a hike in the woods to stretch their legs.

I am from Calgary originally but in the U.S more than a decade most recently Pennsylvania. I'll be visiting parents in '08 and your photos are inspiring my future climbs. Keeps it up! I skiied Lake Louise a million times as a kid but don't remeber Mt. Louise. I'll definately be researching that.

this does not look like Vertical. In the background you should see Breakaway--not a cave and up above a bunch of bushes.
