Cool looking problem. I want to check it out next time im up at G-motha!

View this Photo
Yea, that pitch is actually called the block route. The actual route that is called Jim Dandy only has three. It ends on Lunch Ledge which is below this climber. Its 3 long pitches, and if the pic showed more of the background you could tell.

I didnt realize it until I saw this picture, but I met rrradam at Pixie Rock in JTree over New Years 2004. It was weird to recognize somebody in a picture here.

It is fun, but I sure wish I could send it.

The rock at Rumbling Bald isn't sandstone, its gneiss. Shady Grove is a pretty hard problem for your first time outdoors!

View this Photo
Thats the Kung Fu area. Around the left corner is The Green Knob, then Rotator Cuff.

View this Photo

View this Photo
friction is great in most parts of the cliff, but for some reason cereal buttress seems (and especially frosted flake) seems to be a little slick. Doesnt take away from the routes at all though!

View this Photo
this picture makes this route look way less cool than all the other pictures do

View this Photo
