Thanks. Yeah, we have lot of fun out there. It is everyones first summer climbing. Except Go and Galina who are pros. They come with us every now and then to help get our stuff back when we lead too hard. :)
Yeah, our friend Go climbed up (actually almost ran up :) ) the climb after I lead it (he climbs high 5.11s and low 5.12s I think) with some slings and Seans camera. He anchored himself and took all these pics from up top. Turned out pretty nice. I wish this rock wasn't in shadow most of the day though. Well, for the camera anyway, the temp is nice.
I like this series of pictures from inside the crevice. Gives an un-earthly feeling to the pictures.
Great photo. I love the focus and light on the hands with the shadow between them. Really draws them out.
-16F, luxury! We never had it so good. In my day we....
Nice, I like the focus on the hand. This is in the 'far side' area right? Maybe Grit Stone??
Is that a back clip?
Yeah, that tie in looks very strange to me.
Those 'caves' near the base, in the foreground, look man made. What are they?
Is the rope on the ground for a boat? Is the only way to get there by water? Very cool.
What does the sign say?
Love all the smiles. Must have been a good time.
a Bow Flex is a 'at home' workout machine that is on TV all the time.
Wow, wish I had a back like that. You don't row crew do you? Rowers have such strong backs.
I have been climbing over dirty peas so long it is hard to imagine a nice clean floor like that in a bouldering room. Is it soft enough to fall onto from high finishes?
Um, no one gonna mention the hat and glasses?
I would like to see this bigger.
Congrats on getting outside, looks like a great day. You should spend a couple minutes learning how to add routes to the route database, it is pretty easy once you do it the first time.
So, how far did you make it? Sure seems like your belayer should have some protection from falling crates though.
Is it just me, or do your shoes look too big for you?
Nice pic. Wish the branch wasn't in the upper right. Any photoshopers out there?
Wow, love all the hair! :)
Too bad her left hand was cut off, would have been great to see both.
:) The trick now is to miss the ground.
