Doug - Almost looking due south. Moraine Hill it is indeed, not much of a hill though! Lots of adventure to be had in them mtns.!
Yep - The Hawksbill traverse - 5.9, unless you finish on Phasers (5.11) or Cambells Crack (5.10). Classic!!
Glacier? Are you referring to "mixed" in the title?
Funny you brought up the pad idea! I have a Misty pad well placed, but honestly if you blow the clip your friends will have to carry you out regardless, the landing is pretty rocky. Many thanks go out to A. Love for the attentive (although not apparent in this photo.) belay and M. Smith for lugging the pad up the hour-long approach.
Nice sling in the tree... and a great rt. I might add! Although, I do not remember climbing a sappling for the start..?
FYI; "overview of the main turnoff near the stone wall" actually translates to - "The Wilson Creek pulloff and parking area, adjacent to Ominous Roof and Moon Rocks"
