I've never seen the Nursey Slab look so.....vertical ;)
*sniff*, makes me home sick :(
I think you just posted this so you could talk about that squirrel :P
Do it for Commander, Muffin!!!
yup, that's chris.
Picky picky Mister Monkey! I'll change the description just for you then! :P
Cool location. The pics a little grainy though.
Huh, I'm sure there was a photo just like this on my old computer that was included in the Windows platform I was using. I'm assuming that a great many people get a shot from this bridge.
I would really like to see a crisper version of this too, seems almost Sci-Fi.
Wow, that rock looks so blank to the right of him
Teh angle is good, but the subject is blurry
he-he! I like his expresion!
Wish the climber was fully in the shoot. Sorry, but the cut off hand kinda ruins it for me.
Just some hot young stud I picked up in Hueco ;)
He hung them in the local gym, and if anything the chalk brings out the face features even better (he was going to make a "face climb" out of them :D)
The rock looks neat, but the colouring of the photo is off...
Ha! I can't believe that this is still my #1 rated photo. Maybe I should do more posing......?
I love the sunglasses/headlamp combo :P
I like it too, maybe because the subject and the rock is nice and clear and in focus.
dude, it a blurry photo of an indoor wall....there's not even someone climbing!
I like the water and waves in the background, but the photo would have been better with a leader rather than a top roper.
classic but shot
I didn't even notice the climber at first....scrolled back up looking for him after grit-freak's comment.
Its a shame, you can't really tell that he's off the ground in this shot.
Cool composition, wish it was a little more sharp though.
The blurry rock on the right is distracting
I like this photo...but I agree about the pad!
I like the photo....but the description makes it for me.
Holey ass-shot Batman!
The photo isn't very sharp
Nice! Black and white is great for this shot.
I like the photo (esp the colours of the rock), but the tree branches at the top are a little distracting.
She's such a cutie.....give her another few years and she can be your rope gun ;)
Not only is it a great photo in and of it self, but it also reminds me how much I love sea side bouldering. Thank you.
Was Vertigo school running that day? Its funny, the number of people seen in your photo is actually cocnsidered a crowd at that crag.
The route that you're on (red shirt) is Recognition, not Dreamberry Wine. Dreamberry Wine is the line that the person in the black tanktop and no helmet is about to hop on.
Wow, love the profile pic!
Been there, done that!
Not bad, but the belayer is distracting
Love this perspective! Nice.
That tree kinda overshadows the climber
I tweaked a tendon in my knee doing a drop knee like that
I don't think that it is redundent. I think that if you cut through one strand the whole system comes apart
Talk about extended runners!! Nice work!
Grainy and dark
Subject and the rock seems really dark
There are some cool things happening with this photograph, but that guy in background is distracting.
You should loose the date
The DOF makes this photo
If the spotters wern't there it would be a much better shot
too bad the photo is of such bad quality
"Dude, I don't wanna sound like a queer or nothing, but I think Unicorns are kick-ass!"
I don't know what to say...but that's a big rock!
extra points 'cause its your dad and its cool to have parents like this, nice pic ;)
Wooot!!! Baby got back!
Hmm, the photo before reduction is much clearer....I'll mess with the photos later and try to resize it so its sharper.
Kinda hard to make out anything in this photo
Yeah, head lamp streak is distracting
The rock came out nice and red, but mothing else really grabs me in this photo
I actually like the one guy taking a glance back, as the others carry on forward
Great colour, the rock looks beautiful
Belaying for that climb can be dangerous!!! One of the few times I insisted on being anchored off the ground while belaying. Oh yeah....and nice photo :D
colours are great, both the sky and the rock
So many things come together in this photo, the colour, the DOP, the climbers position and expression. I like.
pmyche - When we did Directissma before we strung the 1st and 2nd pitches together (go DMM Revolvers!). I've been on the route twice now, and you're right about the photo op, so maybe next time!
you get a 9 for the great action in this shot
He is adorable....I'd watch out for mamma though! They're big animals!
Great shot. Trying to decide if it loses points for being a gym photo, or if it gets extra for it being good despite it being in the gym ;). Regardless, good photo.
its hard to get those mountains without a ton of haze. Nice jorb.
hmmm, ass shot, no face, on TR wearing a sweater...sorry bud, but this isn't a great recipe for a great photo. Gave it a 6 anyway.
What happens next? well, from what I've seen people tend to go flying off to the left the moment their foot cuts. Fun to watch :P
you look happy :)
mrrooowwww! you can say that again, Mr. Monkey!
unique and stunning
I really do love this pic....can't believe that I haven't voted on it till now!
No face of your firend?
Some fun action...but really dark. Have you tried to photo shop it?
nice to see some shots of the glen riverside bouldering
Brent, you serious? He took a photo of you, you took a photo of him when we were there. 3D, excellent pic!
I wish Nathan had better internet access right now, it would be excellent if he could share his experiance of it. As for more info of the route: Start on California Dreaming, a 5.11b stemming route, climb past the anchors to the roof. You kinda skirt the bottom of the roof heading left (easier than it looks) then step back left to the crack. The crack is good for gear until maybe 10' below me, where it becomes a seam. The crux is getting past this back to where the seam opens up again. The route has another pitch after this, going to the top of the tower. The top pitch is actually surprizingly solid and good climbing for a top of the tower pitch.
Uber pixilated, was this because of the compression used on it? Awesome colours though.
Love that problem
good expression, but out of focus
Nice, I thin I like it in colour better than the B&W (can't resist those fall colours)
Gave it a 7 just for the sympathy factor.
seems dark (at least on my monitor)
Looks like a really fun climb. Its nice when you get a photo that make you want to get out and climb a route.
Great but shot!
hope this guy isn't just sitting in a field anchored in
fantasic colours. nice shot.
Wow, that photo just makes me want to get on that climb.
I guess there's been many horses over the years. There's a photo of my sister in-law on that horse many many years ago, but it had a different skin then it does now.
Did I ever mention that this was one of my favorite photos of climbs in Ontario. Totally the way I felt the first time I was up on it!
That's so damn cute its not even funny. Great pic!
I really like this pic, but I agree on the rotation. At first glance it looked like someone was laying down on a ledge!
One of the biggest, sweetest dogs I've had the pleasure to meet. I doubt he'd even notice something like the weight of a rope on his back ;).
Not a bad shot, but you get 5 stars just for owning that cam! :D
very nice, though I find the necklace she is wearing distracting. At first I thought it was the strap from a halter top ;). But nice concept for portraying the female form.
This is the first time I've taken a good look at the photo. I always thought she had on a short sleeved shirt, and now I see the tattoos. My eyes then go down to the graffiti. While the marks on the rock aren't lovely like the marks on her shoulders, it all ties in together somehow, ya know?
Nice look route, but the photo (and the climber) is way too dark.
Wow, looks like someone needs to take some time off!
Still, good pic.
I don't know, I think the creepy guy adds a little je ne sais quoi to the photo.
This is great! Tres Group of Seven.
I'm still confused by this shot, why is he climbing out the roof backwards? Is it some sort of trick beta?
Good that you could get a kayak in the photo instead of one of the motor boats...ha! Not sure if I'll get to Bon Echo this season or not :(.
What the fuck is that on your head?
Not a bad photo, but there's no feeling without a face to the climber.
I dunno, its kinda blurry.
Best shot of the three, would have liked to see you further on the pitch though.
One of the less interesting shots I've seen of this route. I'm not a huge fan of how its framed either.
Colours are fantastic. Love the way her pants even tie into it.
Great shoot, great juxtaposition....but that big blue tower keeps drawing too much of my attention. Sorry.
Awesome! You actually put a photo up of your bracelet. Rock on!
Who is this guy? Does he only have one shirt?
Newfoundland is a beautiful, wild place. I haven't been there since I was a teen though.
Glad you managed to get such a good pic!
Its just 'cause of that pretty shirt.
Glad you had a good trip Wojtek.
Nice action shot
That's pretty cool! (no pun intended)
Not a bad scenery shot, but not a good climbing one.
Lighting is fantastic!
Good photo, and the white on white theme is kinda cool, but I think I would have rathered a bright shirt on the climber instead.
I really dig the colours in the shot.
Good shot, but personally I find the green too distracting.
Sorry, but this is a pretty typical and easy shot to get of the last pitch on Bonnie's Roof. To impress me there has to be something else going on, and here you can't even see the climber's face.
Took me a while to realize that there was a climber in that shoot.
I was told once about the Red: "it's not about how long you're able to hold on, it's about knowing how to rest". Too true.
The chick is pretty rad, but the photo is out of focus, and I think you loose a lot by being that zoomed in on her.
Nice muscles, but I don't like the framing of this shot.
proud send, yo!
I like this shot.
huh, this photos makes the lake look like it's going to spill out.
Ice climbing is suffering enough. You guys just brought that up a notch.
Would this work better if they had hammers? I see your tools coming lose very easily.
Great looking landscape, but the climber blends in too much.
nice composition, but I find it too washed out.
Editing is weak!
Both the photos of you on the front page are good, but I think I like this one a little better.
sorry, no climbing, bad photo....why is it on here?
What the fuck is up with your photo bombing btw? Pretty pathetic.
Is that your kid?
Nice Gail! Is this photo from this year from this year?
4 stars 'cause it's Dover, but I wish the colours popped a bit more.
Awesome, looking strong!
This is kerrect.
3 points off = awesome!
Oh yeah, photo spray. ;)
I'm pretty proud of it, especially since it was only a few days off from my 5 year anniversary of my accident.
Our cat has a bad habit of hanging out under us when we're on out home wall....pets get pissed when you land on them.
Nice fall colours, too bad that didn't get displayed more in the photo....it's the best thing about it.
Bad habit to leave a half tied figure-8 in the rope.
Yet another reason to tie in with a bowline?
Boring subject matter, but I really like the colours.
This photo makes it look like the entire cliff is going to fall down.
Agreed about the colors, but not everyday at the crag can be a fashion show.
The sloppy pinch is used to help turn around.
Is that air brushed? Sorry, I don't care for it.
It must be the jealousy thing.
Anyone else feel they just entered the uncanny valley?
