its ethan pringle--he ddoesn't fall off 12a's!
very fun route--but hideously painful sharp holds
is that a golf course in the background? i can't wait to get to the frankenjura this summer! your pictures blow me away!
youre right--im sorry--its steep thrills...at the sunny and steep wall...still 12a and a gimme for the grade
its definitely not panic in detroit--i believe its composure--a good route...
you only BOULDERED there!?! oh my gosh--you are missing the best part of smith rocks! now you have to return because the routes are what make the place legendary
its not grantite actually--its volcanic tuff...but a great shot on an intense route
yes--to bolt or not to be is close by in the dihedrals of smith rock
you're right...it's aerial--i'm pissed at myself for not recognizing it! of course, the climber is using that big flake that is a little off route
god do i have painful memories of that route...it is one hard 12a (especially after the nice, short pockety routes in wild iris!)
great photo--but steepest 12a? go to column of the giants in sonora--a 12a so steep you stare downwards at the draws (i s**t you not!)
yeah...it's a little lower
wait...how the heck would that be possible unless you fell inward towards the wall...and how woule he do that on an overhanging arete? are you sure you didn't backclip?
you heard it was HARDER than 12a? maybe 11a...good fun route still!
more like 11a! still a fun route though...
hey! people voted on my profile pic! thanks! (i wish they'd vote on the others as well!)
yep--that's the todd mcgregor you know--now the bastard's headed out to LA--tearing it up in SoCal--hopefully he stops by Reno on his way!
please feel free to comment...
they said they didn't want it in medium res...so i submitted it in low
my poor little picture wallows in disuse like an old ghost town...sigh...
glad you like it! please vote for it! yeah, i do wonder sometimes how those blocks don't fall during earthquakes? i would guess they're just so darn heavy
