is that line curved UP because of the fisheye? or is he bouncing on a highline??
another 5.12 climber in blue jeans - is that the secret? Do I need to start wearing blue jeans to climb 5.12? I dont even really like jeans, but for 5.12, I think we could arrange something!!
Seriously though, nice climb, and great picture.
Nice shot. Good to see sherpas out having fun too. He is probably swinging so hard that the shaft bent from its own momentum...
so, what do you have to be thankful for?
nice!! I get scared on A1...
wow!! this is my favorite hike in the daks in summer, and it is top on my hit list if I ever learn ice climbing.
you really are a sport weenie if you are trying a fist jam with a good hand jam a few inches higher
yeah, its easy. I got all psyched up to lead and then cruised it.
love the route. took my second gear fall on it, then returned a few months later and got it first try without problems. great pic of it!!
I normally chew on the other end. Nice pic.
yikes!! you would like the San Juans too...
before getting more stuff you need to use what you already have!!
fun route, great photo!!
will my arms fall off like yours did too?
oh yeah, thats my homemade super burly extra long nut tool (made from a bike wrench for 1 piece cranks I never used). its about 2" longer than a BD nut tool, so I can reach all the booty that YOU CAN'T!!
I forgot to mention, I've actually placed the bong the 6" way and the 3.5" way as a chock... quite limited, thus the aquisition of the bd 5!!
so how high off the ground is he? nice shot.
I met a bat in a little horizontal low on the route. then in the middle there was a spot where I got my WC hexes 8 and 9 placed right next to each other for immovable pro!!
that is SO hot!!
so for the "full-man" onsight do you turn around on the line or on the other edge?
If it weren't for the crashpad, you'd get blamed for staging this and rotating it upsided-down. nice FA, I love offwidths.
I've been dreaming about leading it for years. but my only wide gear is a 6" bong piton and a #5 camalot (not c4)...
legos are sweet. If you really get bored, you could find a little iceflow he could climb, or get on photoshop and have the lego men climb something sick in Patagonia. Don't forget the lego pirate backpacks, helmets, and a rope for more realistic alpine sickness.
where is his helmet?!
come on, is that all you got? ;-)
thru-bolt that sling hole and rip it to shreds!
Ouch! What's the piece of metal in the middle with the bolt (perpendicular to the axle)?
Minimal Indeed! I can hardly find it mixed in with all my precision hand machining!
