My heart goes out to Andria's family and friends.
Nice, the town in the background gives it a cool look.
Yarrr, he be soloing. Says so in the description matey.
Pete was wearing 2 different kinds of shoes. One La Sportiva and one Scarpa. Both of them looked like they had been manufactured in the 60's. No aiders though.
tracy, there is a via feratta line at the end, it go's up the inside corner you can see across the bridge.
Who wears shorts shorts? Pete wears short shorts. If you dare wear short shorts, nair for short shorts.
Funny how in this picture it looks so small. Did you squash the pixels? It looks like a 2 pitch climb.
This pic is AWESOME.
They were old school climbers, most likely started before helmets and sponsors existed.
Why are you asking people to rate your pic? Its not that interesting.
Its 10x more beautiful with a 360 degree view. After walking straight up the scree slope to the top for 45 min im half dead. 2hrs to walk along the ridge the easy way to that point.
An ice axe?
Pete did it!
The picture is from a crappy digital. The only adjustment I made to it was size cropping.
Fake ? I think so.
A picture like this shouldnt be on the frontpage. Why are people voting this a high rating? Post this on "AmIHotOrNot.com", not on rc.com
Because im in Tahoe?
Chock stone UNF!
Everyone likes to sew a little on their first Trad lead, I know I did.
Damn man, where the hell you been. Your email address is dead.
OH NO'S HES ON TR!!! ITS NOT ROCK CLIMBING [/sarcasm]
Glad you pointed that out rough. I never would have looked that close.
Looks like it could be sand instead of snow.
Email me the original pic please. Address is in profile.
Is that man at the top naked? I see bush.
The original version of this is now on my desktop, thanks.
pmagistro, looks right to me.
This picture doesnt do the climb justice, post some of the western view. Nice pic anyways.
Reminds me of vertical caving in Wva. Nice shot.
An extremely long 5.9+ is right downhill from it. Im not a boulderer.
