Aren't the prohibitions because these cliffs lie within the Navaho Nation, which considers them sacred and therefore climbing on them is not only disrespectful, its a sacrilege? After all our ancestors have done to them I think we should at least try to respect their boundries.

I remember that climb from a looooooong time ago. Got up to the nice jam crack and placed some solid pro, only to bang my head against the upper part of the dihiedral there. Nearly passed out from the pain. You learns your lessons as you go.
