3 out of 5 stars agreed with gunksgoer, great lighting

sounds like someone is a grade nazi over here, or just doesn't know how to read guidebooks or look shit up online, or thinks he is superior to all and his interpretation of the route is the definitive guide for everyone. screw grades, just climb

thanks rradam, your opinion is so very much appreciated.

3 out of 5 stars Great shot with the river and rock right there, looks like a rad line for sure. Just jump in on a hot day and climb sweet dihedrals, the life right there.

This was the first time I did the route and so I just hand traversed out right but many folks use the rail for their feet, either way I think you have to go right and up to the anchors. I don't think its any harder/easier either way, I have done it both ways and they both provide similar challenges. Thanks for the compliment crimpandgo.

4 out of 5 stars Right on guys

View this Photo
I believe going right is easier. I felt that either way, the most difficult moves were down low, maybe thats because by the top, your balance is more on and you are just kinda dancing at that point. Grading bolted lines in Josh is always interesting to me. This climb is simply 5.fun.

4 out of 5 stars The natural framing in this picture is excellent, great shot.

Looks like he is in aid mode too! Maybe just a mistake on the selection when posting.

Is this a bolted crack?

4 out of 5 stars Awesome looking climb, good send man.

3 out of 5 stars The route is called geronimo because one is encouraged to reach through the crack and bring their feet above then and from a no hands rest, or bat hang as some like to call it....yell GERONIMO!!!!! Great action in this shot.

That foot looks impossible to break off

Looks like he's got tape on that line, that usually means they are taping a rope under it. Go devil go

Sweet framing, good action and flip flops!

Robbie- Jono here, we must climb soon. I'm getting a threaded line and a pulley system pretty soon. There is a highline on mt. diablo i want to set up, you are coming for sure. Talk to you soon

I was taught that one's knee/leg is the required protection for wide cracks. Thats rad though, what type of metal was used, aluminum?

View this Photo
It is lame, agreed. I have seen many sport areas with bolts so close to a crack on a "face" climb that one could easily climb the crack with a set of draws. The bolts may be for the arete or an overbolted should-be-mixed-gear-route??? Its all about how you wanna climb it, ya too many bolts are trashy but just climb and enjoy everything else.

Horrible belay location

Homeboy moditup is a judgmental tool and has obviously never taken anything to head or done long routes where "noobs" may be above you dropping shit all day long. Mind your own business, you don't wanna protect your nogin...don't, but no one wants to hear that shit, peace.

tcantor333, you are oh sh$#ting and coming off cause you need to consider a hand foot match before going left hand up....i know its freaky as hell and thats why i have not done it with a bad ankle but this is how i have seen it done numerous times, good luck

View this Photo
Hey cracklover what is wrong with trees, your suggestion to trim it so the route can be more photogenic has got to be the stupidest thing i have ever heard, i love trees, i especially love them when they are perched on some little ledge super high off the deck. dont hurt trees, hurt people who hurt trees for lame egotistic reasons.
