This view is looking into New Jersey at Mount Tamany with its two hundred foot cliff wich is home to many gap classics. As you can see the angle of the cliff ascending the mountain side tends to make for a unique climbing experience.

Mark is definately in his element on this kind of stuff, he climbs with a very fluid motion. Looks like hes enjoying himself here!

5 out of 5 stars Yes its the ice you see in the background. Its a 400 foot steep climb with the second pitch climbing the narrow pillar seen directly above the wide smear. The climb is three pitches long.

It was a great time climbing with you Mitch we all had a great day. I cant take credit for this FA even though I might wish i could it was put up by another climber.

5 out of 5 stars This pitch is very definatly a classic that ill never forget having the honor to lead. A friend of mine pulled pieces on it and took a bad fall the previus year to my ascent and broke his ribs. Their El Cap ascent was over :( thats gotta hurt.

5 out of 5 stars Good question.
The answer is that we topped out in the dark and spent three miserable hours to decend since we chose the wrong direction to find a way down.
We only took a couple pictures that day since it was cold enough to shrivel your sack and didnt want to do anything but get the route done. Ill post the only other pic I can think of, its of my partner leading the first pitch. check back to see it soon.
THANKS for your interest.

5 out of 5 stars This pic is of the northeasts biggest cliff. It shows you what Cannon looks like and is mainly meant as a reference or just a picture of the cliff that a person interested in a possible trip to Cannon might appreciate.

0 out of 5 stars How does one get to be one of those privelaged few? Wow I'm really impressed, maby you could teach me to come along on one of you'r extreem adventures, since I'd be too scared to go there unless you were with me. Maby if there was a bolted 5.5 I could follow you.

Anne I'm sorry but I dont think it's a very far leap to assume that the bolter drilled all the holes there since this pitch NEVER had a bolt on it until Mitch got the idea that it needed to be modified to serve his personal needs. I don't believe him when he says that the holes "were already there" before he brought his drill onto the scene. I wasn't born yesterday! There's plenty of proof that HE drilled there and none that someone els did.

5 out of 5 stars As in getting up with a crankin hangover, climbing like an eighty year old lady, carrying the rock of gibralter in you'r pack, forgetting you'r headlamp and blambing it all on you'r ex.
