Thats honestly a great photo. I personally respect good "life style" (as i guess id call this...) shots. Ones that can really capture the emotion and off the rock aspect of the climbing life. Its almost as if he feels no pain because its overcome by the "..shit, this doesnt look like ill be climbing for awhile" thoughts. That, and maybe some shock!

Other than a bit of brightness up top and some grainyness (or is it missed focal point?), or maybe juts because of the black and white. this is one of my fav pics on here for sure. Colour?

Alright...cool pic, but come on. A canoeing photo on the front page of a climbing site? Im all for life style or even scenery shots, but this is a bit much. Thanks for sharin though, just hope you dont start any trends with this!

Some climbers, who dont care much about photography like pics because theyre good shots of ...guess what...climbing! I agree its not a "good" picture, but it makes me miss climbing and reminds me of being on the rock again (even though Ive never done anything near that awesome:) ) So, Id say its a damn good shot.

How do you stop action/get away with a fast shutter speed in such low light? Many of my climbing shots suffer 'the blurr hand/face/foot/etc' when im going for the natural light look and want to avoid an un-natural flash feel. But I see shots like this all over the place where the light is beautiful and soft and its SHARP.

What gives?

Nice. Almost perfect accept for the window. Just be careful not to call something like this a 'photo.' There's a big difference, (and a fine line it would seem) between a real photograph, and a peice of graphic art. I think this is wicked, one of the best concepts ive ever seen on here...good example of the creative potential of photoshop to make images.
