Nice shot. It is hard to get quality shots with out making them look posed.
It would also be nice as granitegod stated to have the bushes focused as well.
Thats a pretty sic route. Nice shot by the way.
nice photo, but you're to far away.
Nice Summit and well worth being stoked over.
How tall is the summit?
Nice work. You definitely know how to work the ole shutter.
good ole dike hike'n
One of my Favorite areas. Nice route also
Hard work in thinner air but crossing the glacier was only the beginning. Climbing free solo to the summit is yet to begin.
One of the most satisfying experiences so far.
Fishing bait- falling climber always hooks up the sharks.
Great picture. Wish there was more contrast to the rock.
So to your sponsors pay for an angels view?
Nice! What's the stone quality?
Aiden has a lot of potential. However he's hard to motivate at almost 9. He is high functioning Autistic/Aspbergers - that means smarter then us all but more anti-social ( likes to be a hermit).
-- one hell of a view to have your monrning cup of joe.
Forget the Hexes get some C-4's. Heck my Hexes are the loniest gear I own as they most of the time get left home.
nice picture of one of my favorite pitches on the route.
unfortunately, I forgot my camera and only had my phone 1.3 megapixels.
I also had me finger partially in the way of the len.
Oh well, I wasn't there to photograph as much as I was there to pull hard.
Sorry for not having better definition, however i forgot my camera at the Car and only had my 1.3 mega pixel camera/phone to shoot a few pictures.
But hey my excuse is I was going to climb not shoot pics.
Red Mountain, BC !!!!! I use to ski that back in the early 80's every winter. Use to go up theere from Spoknae Wa. for a week.
What memories have of being under age and sking to ones heart content with a botta bag full of spirits . Being one of the first up and the last person off the summit that night! God I love that resort!!!
wish they would put a few of those signs on trails in yosemite!!! I hear bitching all the time about how the steps are hard to climb!!! Come on!! Grow a set or don't try!!!
Love the exposure of the climb as well as the detail in the rock
God the wind was terrible, as I was hauling the pad and a trad rack and I was more like a sail in the wind.
When I got home I had sand in crevace of my face due to the wind.
Oh well, still got out climbing.
Sweet looking climb. What do you think it's rated? Better yet what route did you do.
Any way very impressive climb.
That is a F@#$'n great shot! Really a great perspective.
Under 95 degrees and below 50 humidity.
Sweet Pic! So whats the traverse rated?
I love climbing on that boulder. Wish I knew the name of the rock. There are some really fun problems to do in varying difficulty.
I played on another route latter that day while the tide rose beneath the boulder. It made for some fun mind games.
Sic place to have a field day. Will have to make a road trip out to climb it.
This picture was taken at 10989 ft elevation.
You couldn't have asked for a better day than I had for that trip. I just wish I had brought my axe and crampons and other gear with me. But then again my pack was heavy already.
I agree with Oldsalt the boulder is overexposed, but I love the composition.
Looks like a lot of fun and so little time to climb it all.
Nice!! Great composition and I can feel what the climber is experiencing. That awkward move to rechauk sweaty hands.
I like the fisheye view. It help with the massive feeling of the route.
What a great picture. It could have been have used a little closer focus on the climber, however the picture just screams go climbing.
So where are your C-3's man. I thought your were the ultimate gear whore? Seriously, nice rack you got here, so how do you like the ball nuts?
awe...... what a sweet route that is. It looks as though you're near the top of the route by the rock color & formation.
This is a classic area to climb. I can't remember how many times I've climbed Jonny Vegas below of it. Still haven't had time to play alot on Solar Slab wall, but love the area when it isn't so busy
Nice Fish Malcolm. Use to fish the big hole when I was younger. So what did you catch him on. (type of fly?)
Oh yeah did ya eat'em? Heck most of the time I end up throw'n the poor bastards back but once in a while ... Hmm
Yeah I thik that I was out there about the same time as when you took that picture.
Unfortunately, the wind makes it alot colder back in canyons.
Love the photo. Just wish the picture wasn't quite so dark.
Way to go.
This looks like it's over in Central Kraft area. Nice photo. Think I might have been in the area about the same time, climbing @ the Cube & Plummers Crack
I love the intensity in the climber's expression. Nice shot
Thats one of the best photos I've seen in while. Great job, hope you didn't have em on belay at the same time.
Nice picture.. Nice to see someone that knows how to use their digital camera. I'm still work'n at learning the abilities of my D80.
Wow!!! What a sic pic. Love the contrast between shearness and the green along with its proxcimity to the urban world
Great shot. I love climbing in red rocks, too bad its got so hot.
Would be a great picture if it hadn't been taken in the middle of the day. The picture looks a bit over exposed. Not bad contrast though.
nice picture. Just wish the lighting was better with better contrast. To many shadows on the "Mr D."
What a fun looking feature. I wanna send right now.
This is a great shot. Love the colors and the exposure & contrast are well done.
Besides this is a great shot of some pretty stout climb any book.
what did you shoot the picture with?
Sweet pic. What's the rating on this route.
Way to start em out.
I like a lady in red! Hmmm interesting climb
I knew that this was belly full of bad berries. It's the only route that I've seen where you have to invert and lead with your foot.
sweet picture. nice composition with the concentration and the edginess of the possibility of a whipper happening.
nice shot john, just wish you'd been able to zoom in a little, but then again I'd not see the route as well.
love the contrast and the rock color. Also looks really steep
Hope this was a boulder route and the photographer wasn't suppose to be spotting or worse yet on belay
nice composition.. and looks like a fun climb.
nice picture, although it almost seems over exposed. Yeah i know that it's hard to shoot a shot like this with the light coming in like is. The waterfall is pretty cool, but unfortunately, it is hard to feel this route. Looks like fun though.
I agree this is a great shot and would only be better if there was no shadow on his face. What a sweet route.
Steves a true hard man.
Hmm they look like the BD ATC...
looks like a fun route and possiblities for some sout routes as well. Love to shape of this out cropping.
Now them's are boot fit for a women. What are they? I know a some gurls whom just gottat have a pair to look so stylish out hiking.
I wanna climb!! So where Mt. _Sill?
NICE!!!!! Great shot and even better while being shot in the gym.
Are those Sportiva Cliffs? I love those shoes next to Mythos for climbing all day.
They also make your feet blue after climbing all day. Oy Vei!!!
feeling nice and exposed
thats not rainbow wall, but might be part of rainbow mountain
Note: One must wear clown pants when providing semaphor signalling of proper pose
Sweet! I could do with some time out in Moab right about now.
Thats why it -5.11b.
That is agreat picture. Love the pain & suffering of the crack with poor footing
Love the photo and well deserves 5 stars!!!
Nice shot. I agree with Naitch lose the framing of the picture. Looks like a fun route
Love the light on this one.
Love the cracks... Looks totally crazy
I like the colors of the Lichen on the rock below the climber.
Hmm never climbed the area..Thanks for the tip.
Wow that drop knee looks uncomfortable! Cool pic of the stance though.
Nice photo just wish it showed more climber without it being a butt shot.
What a great view. Reminds me of some places I've camped when out mountaineering and climbing in the back country.
I love the color. Great Picture
