I climb there all the time and nocalfree has it right. This picture is backwards and needs to be flipped

Me, too! It's hard to get enough of it in a week of vacation. Damn...

Maybe just a little tilted - look at the draws hanging from his harness. Yes, untilting it would make it a bit steeper.

Yeah, I'd call that color coordination: red shirt, red draws and red moccasins! Now if there was a red rope...acutally, where is the rope?!

Also known as Burcham's Other. This photo should be in the Contact Zone route/photo section.

Hmmm...I'm trying to remember because it was taken a couple years ago. I'm thinking it was late spring/early summer but I could be wrong.

At 60 minutes exposure, I woulda thought those stars would be more like little archs in the sky???

I agree - probably 5.9+ or 5.10-

Nice pic but too bad the picture isn't level! It bothers my equilibrium... It could be rotated in PS a few degrees but you'd loose a bit of the picture.

What?! Only 5 pairs of shoes!?

4 out of 5 stars Great pic! I like the way the color of the rock is a "reflection" of the snow covered peak in the background - both in shape and color. It's a bit fuzzy but maybe the original is sharper.

I agree with time2climb - it looks like HDR manipulation or heavily PS's something kind of unnatural about it - the clouds are too dynamic and the Whitney and surrounding peaks seem too light. Whatever manipulation was done, if it were turned way down, it would look much better and more natural.

4 out of 5 stars ...and nice granite too! It's hard to tell from this angle that one of the faces is also slightly overhanging.

Nice shot but lose the black lines around it - looks dorky...

River Dance? It looks more like the Plumber's Crack Dance to me!
