yeah, the colors were great that year, and to sort of head things off at the pass, i did not monkey with the red balance. just an awesome fall and fuji velvia on a long exposure

very overcast day, long exposure, cheap lens (that's why it looks fuzzy). if only i had $1200 to drop on an L-series....

not erratics in the technical sense of the word (i'm not sure if glaciers made it down here.) i'm lazy; i often use that as a catch-all term for satellite boulders. i guess a better term would be "products of mass shedding."
