um yeah. that's why we do this. right there. should be the poster for this website.
very nice shot. The way it's framed it looks like it should say "Climbing" or "Rock&Ice" on top ...
ditto to colin, one of the best on this site.
Great action shot! Would be a solid 9 if your photog's shadow wasn't over the climber's face.
Dude that thing's gonna fall over! We need some of those in New England. So cool ...
I love the red. More pictures of awesome rrg rock please!
Other than the fact that it's one of the few photos on this site that are in focus, why is this getting high ratings (8+ at the time of this comment)? Her technique sucks and the composition is weak at best. Anyone? Anyone?
I was guessing that it was a shop job ... a very nice one at that. If it was a traditional multiple exposure it would not be good to be blurry. But since we're critiquing the "image" and not the "photos," the real medium here is your photoshop work. The clarity of the top-out elation is what makes this so great. This is all my long way of saying I love it.
This is a beautiful shot, man. Nice going. Love the orange.
Very nice looking route. Makes me wish I own a rack.
You spent all day staring at that poster didn't you?
Lemme guess ... v1 because of the tough sit start.
you met him in line for the potty, eh?
EVERYBODY (no pun intended) went swimming there.
what is that band protecting you? torn up linen? looks sketch-tastic. nice pic
shouldn't you be using oxygen up there on the moon? cool landscape ...
and I like it
I see what you're up to
Yup. That's one of them. The one of Eric on the roof climb is a little better (not as much of a butt shot). Maybe I'll post that one for him ... anyone know his rc.com name?
What a wussy warm-up crag. Ha!
To the front page!!!
smokeless fire ... neato
thanks for posting this, i've wondered what it would look like
i just checked dr. topo and it says that it is v5 and called bum boy
man i hope it's v4 cuz i've never wrestled so hard witha v2 with so little success. either way it's fun
schweet, pennsyltucky rocks
cool. wearing sunglasses in the shade. cool.

you are a dork. cool climbing. got more pictures?
holy crap. amazing reach.
very nice pic. I like that you did not crop it in - the wide view is great.
Thanks Jeff, it was a sweet climb and he was so money on it. He was in his element on that crag.
Oh $#!&, that sucks. I'll have to actually climb well. O, no prob. I'll go climb right now. hahahahaha
15 votes and up at 8.4? good shot but poor quality.
unfortunately, that graffiti is minimal compared to some parts of the quarries. oh well, such is urban cragging.
it's all about the pink ... placed another further up after a decent runout.
this pro is excellent because you can double its holding strength will a little duct tape.
Yee haw - that looks like fun! Sorry to tell ya, Rob, you're clawing your way up "Blood Streaks" which is 5.9. And look at all the Dunkin Donuts boxes down there on the ground ... it's a wonder any of us got off the ground. HAHAHAHAHAaaaa
don't bite your tongue off hahaha
dude, don't bite yer tongue ... use the friction, brandon ...
hey, i'll put on my helmet when you climb above me, crackhead
someone voted this one low - if it started at 10 and is at 6.67 after three votes ... that means the other two votes ammount to 10, right? If you've seen the speed comp, live or on tv, you know that catching hans in a photo without much motion blur is pretty remarkable, even if the background is washed out and the focus is off a little (that was meant to be a compliment...). I'm giving it an 8, cuz that's what I think it deserves - not because I want to offset anyone else's vote. That $#!& is just weak.
nice to see a TR picture get some props. cool shot
yes it's a quarry - yes it's defaced - but it has character and i'll take it over a lot of chosspiles.
no doubt bishop - when you visit we won't waste time on this $#!& (unless you don't have time for rumney)
what's the usable range?
sweet pic, who took that masterpiece! nice cam selection you got there. I see an awesome trio of dmms, a #1 camalot and what's that one with the pink sling ... anyway, nice rack
sweet! thanks for the clarification will!
Thanks ejlim, yeah that's bishop with the belay and spot ...
that's great ejlim!

looks like a friggin rock
Sweet shot! Even better spot! Bomber!
nice shot T
I like the timing ... full extension - just about to fall ...
ok, jeff, you are right, as usual. But what's the problem with the south? The south is the sheeeeiit! Yee Haw!
nice shot - tough climb!
hahaha - tr'd (one run) on the manky thing.
nice tarp. I want one. : )
beautiful shot. come home safe soon!
cool image ... would look even better without the thin border added by the site.
that was corn?
top out looks super dirty
mmm intertwine rules.
nice work gabe
yeah tommyf you tell 'im boy. what kinda douchbag goes and ruins a perfect postcard shot by making his ugly, disabled little brother stand in the way?
you need more holds ... seriously, it looks like fun
thanks scuba rob
Damn ... I've only bouldered at the alcove at HP. I gotta get me some religion.
dude! throw the heel hook! argh!
I love you hobbit hole.
yay rock .... booo paint .... yay rock!
hey! what prob is this? looks sweet!
that's a fricken stout climb. I pumped out seconding the mofo by the third bolt. Yee haw.
cool pic. category should be changed from "trad" to "aid"
damn! that's what oklahoma looks like? sweet!
can't see your rope. are you still tied in?
this is in the "big wall" category? shouldn't a big wall be, well, a big wall? 500 meters minimum? to each his own, i guess.
The desparate look on his face, ominous-colored rock and shiny gear kinda make aid climbing look fun? Ah!!!!
well, thank you, mr. tarzan.
"lichen route?" sounds like dirty rock.
who is that spotter? nice hat!
nice shot, jake. i guess this explains what took you so long.
cool. that kid's going to bite right through his lip. nice shot, jake.
jake, this is a good shot. I'm going to turn it sideways and resubmit it.
yeah, and i think he's staring at your butt! what a concentrated spotter!
contrast is key
hahaha thanks senor pirate
here we go
Damn! Some stud lead that nasty climb? Damn!
thanks for posting this pic, pyrit. nice action shot. i'm going to save it and mess with it in photoshop :>
nuts. what the hell am i looking at? look up, stupid!
Ah hah! So true! Always there with the rational thought. Thank you Mr. Rate.
bwaaaahahahah good one TB
THE BEST TR PICTURE EVER!
pie rat, I think this problem is cave route or cave overhang, not to the left of neils. excellent shot.
lurch is 5.10 fer sher dog
"I'm a turtle!"
I'm doing that this week (with a rope).
this is a cool shot, derek. I'm glad I was there the day you did send RTL.
ok, just kidding. photo by me.
hahaha trolling in a photo comments area. Cool! One look at RTL and you'd realize tampons aren't going to do much good.
damn, nice shot. say, who's holding your rope?
yeah? i loved rapping off it :*
I'm too cool for school.
I like this picture.
wanna know why he's smiling? let's see the next shot in the sequence ...
sounds like they brought just enough nuts
wow, hair. i didn't know bon jovi was a rock climber.
holy sh1t! you should sell this photo to the publications department at the university where this guy works. Great shot!
thank you for this picture, nelson. I love it.
nice shot, nelson, but I think this one is on Pas De Deux
What did he say? His daughter was in The Matrix? Cool.
5.11 slab, eh? sounds like fun! BYOCheddar!
Larry, is that at Devil's Den? You have it posted in Lower Cliff.
be patient, young grasshopper. the crack will come to you.
isn't marble soft? nice pic anyway!
joes rock might be the ugliest piece of rock i've seen. i got physically ill when i saw it. i'm reminded of edvard munch when i see joe's rock. poor joe would be better off with only one tombstone. i give this photo a 9 for accurate depiction of the beast.
not my first 10 trad lead, but thanks!
We did have a fine day. Amanda did a great job climbing the chimney. The weather was fantastic.
way to go shaky! nice climb!
haha - I love the new "view display of votes" feature.
that's a really cool looking climb. nice shot
hehehe go tara
ahhhh ... gunks dreaming ... gotta get out of the house. It may be late November but there's still some Gunkin to do this season!
hmm ... nice shot, but I dont' remember Maria looking like this. I think I remember a long corner. I must go now to consult my guidebook.
cool shot, gabe
damn ... I have a personal connection with each piece on my rack. Kate must have to schedule time to hang out with each peice ... must be like being the parent of 19 kids.
I really like this photo, scube. It's too bad the bright sky washed it out so much. Otherwise, it looks like the colors were really vibrant that day. Cool looking, problem, too.
I like this shot a lot. I've stared up at that route many a time wondering when I'd see it from a different angle :)
hahaha H-C. OK pic, but your description seems to be calling C-Wall "about 70' high." Hehe, you're only about 35 feet off.
Haha the dangler ... any pic with pinky showing is at least a 9.
Thanks, Gabe. It's a sweet route.
thanks! jake, gabe, rob, chad.
Sorry safa, you are wrong. "It" is a good 70 feet left of this climb.
interesting that the route name and area are the same as a small crag in massachusetts. any idea where the area developers are from?
thanks larry. it's a gorgeous place to climb.
photo bombers? get a hobby!
really cool. what's that line go at? 5.10?
I love this picture. Nelson is a pro.
haha, I still remember not recognizing you because of those awful threads.
haha - ol' trad daddy raised up a boulder brat. :)
sweet ... one can even see some sections where you climbed a bit above your gear! you're getting so bold!
great climb. nice shot.
hehe, yeh, let thine history be revisionized.

hello charles? mr. darwin? you got anymore of them awards you was handin out? jk, looks fun!
cool shot. kinda looks like he has six fingers.
oh, I thought you did the traverse. oops, I'll edit it.
Nice shot by Gabe! Following this was a blast. Rock on, Derek!
That's a HAIRY roof. Gives me a funny feeling in the PIT of my stomach. LOL
cool geometry with the rope curves, shadows and rock shapes.
lol nice ad for anasazi velcroes.
nice shot! I gave it a nine, but the site just told me that I gave it an 8. F-U site!
gorgeous climb. nice shot.
Yeah! Julia! Woo hoo! Way to stay calm when you're up wicked high!
This is a really fun picture. I'm totally sucked into the shot ... It makes me try to remember that moment on recent climbs, when the jam was just too painful to stay with, but I needed to plug gear so I could move and rest ... wow, you caught that moment.
Sweet... thanks for posting this pic. Now I remember where exactly to place the first piece on this climb.
This is a great summit picture. Nice lighting effects from the sky.
QUOTE: " Explains his not stopping to place gear." RETORT: Speed is safety. Recognize, chump.
Yeah Jen! Kick that roof's ass! Nice shot, Cory.
need ... more ... gear ...
Derek, you know that it looks like he is standing onthe ground. Fun pic.
Wow! Way to go, Issa!
This is a fun picture. Possible Caption: "Man in Background: Yup, Goliath really is as big as the Bible says. Man in foreground: If this slingshot doesn't work, I'll bean him with a #3 Chouinard."
looks like a ton of fun.
I really like this picture, a lot, Gabe. Thanks for sharing. The movement is fantastic and the double ropes are fun!
fantastic pic, gabe. nice work, al.
Hehe poster quality. The only thing missing is the inspirational quotation on the right side against the blue background of the sky. Something like "Hang on. The only one who can get you out of this mess is you." Hehe
Cheater! You're leaning on a cloud for aid.
special. awesome climbing, gabe
Yeah Kump. I'm glad to see you put down your paintball guns and picked up yer arm gunz.
This climber is not backstepping his rope, but he's actually just stemming over left for balance as he places trusty gear for the crux. He's pretty smooth, actually.
Are you backclipped, junior?
