4 out of 5 stars I don't generally like the 'tiny climber & big rock' pics, but this one is great. It really gives a good perspective. That place looks like a blast. I gave it a 9.

4 out of 5 stars I had to vote with my heart on this one. Too cute!

Thanks for the nice comments everyone!
VegasT, the canyon is a tributary of the Escalante River. It's not named on any topographic map, but if you're really interested send me a PM and I'll provide more details. I have another picture of it posted if you're interested.

AnythingX: No it's not Egypt 3. Although E3 is fun, this one is more work & more committing, and also has a much longer approach. However, the rewards are much greater. PM me and I'll give you the name and some beta.

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone! Canyoneering is great fun, and Southern Utah has a lifetime of spectacular technical canyons.

No secrets here. I specifically wrote, both times, to PM me and I would give info. I have tons of beta on it, and all anyone has to do is ask.

Tech-dog, you get out by simply walking out. You hike several miles to get into the canyon, then descend it via hiking, swimming, scrambling, and several rappels. The pic is of the last rappel, after which you pack up your gear and hike out.

Mothersheep, yeah Buckskin is great, but it's gonna be HOT in August. Try to link it up w/Paria, and check out The Wave while you're there. A month or two later will be much more comfortable, though.

4 out of 5 stars That jump is great! You can just jump higher and land with your feet where his hands are and it's an easy catch, but still scary.

Those aren't Anasazis they are MR Flashes. I loosened them a tiny bit and jumped. It didn't hurt, but I have tweaked an ankle B4 on that jump.

Jamming man- my foot is off the rock but not by a lot. ktcnclimb- I've never blown it. If you did you'd take a large whipper. If you jumped the right way it would be a clean fall between the pinnacles, but I have never tried it & wouldn't recommend it. I was tied in to 2 bolts with a fig-8. Thanks everyone for looking.

4 out of 5 stars Tslater I think it is a 5.10a. It is one of the easiest climbs there. This is a fun new place to beat the valley heat. It stays cooler than Flagstaff. Nice pic Manny!
