Nice room with a view... does this place have room service? Seriously, a wonderful shot showing some of the depth of the Valley. I wanna try it sometime, when I get better as a climber.

5 out of 5 stars Very nice! (or, as us Southerners are oft heard saying... "Hell yeah!")

View this Photo
Don't take this wrong, but you look constipated.

View this Photo
Reminds me that there is beauty in this world, despite the ugliness we see and read daily. Thank you very much for this picture... Thank you indeed.

View this Photo
Mmmm... legs. Me like legs. The longer, the better. ;)

I'm reminded of an old joke... "How do turtles procreate?" "In." (Ten seconds later...) "Out." (Ten more seconds...) "In."

View this Photo
ONE CAM??? That's it... ONE FREAKING CAM? Tell me he's carrying more gear than one freaking cam... please? Nice photo, though.

Nice pic... A pleasant change to the routine.

Oh, hell yeah! Very cool. Very cool indeed.

View this Photo
Heck of a view.

View this Photo
This is the part right after he yelled "Aw, bloody hell..." right? Nice photo.

View this Photo
I'm getting dizzy just looking at this pic... can not imagine climbing it.

Very nice, in an Ansel Adams sort of way... I like this photo. Thank you for submitting it.

View this Photo
You can almost hear her thinking "Now how the heck am I supposed to get up there?" Great photo....

View this Photo
Very beautiful... very beautiful, indeed.

View this Photo
5 out of 5 stars thc: No, I can't spot the error. Part of me thinks there should be a shadow from the pinnacle the climber is on, but I can't be certain of that... What is the error?

View this Photo
Wow.... wow.

View this Photo
4 out of 5 stars I really like this photo. Especially the way the focus is on her face, and the hand is blurred. Very cool.

View this Photo
My apologies if my comment was mis-understood. I certainly applaud that this is not a posed shot. And I do like the photo. It's just that the hand in question is a touch distracting. Then too, I can't see how you can remove it, considering the angle of the photo. Again, my apology if I wasn't clear. Good work, smike!

View this Photo
What's with the hand at the top of the photo? Other than that, a nice photo. Good focus on the grip, and I like the way you only give us a hint of the climber's face.

View this Photo
"Got Lats?"

View this Photo
I'm getting dizzy from the view. Nice job (again,) Jorg.

View this Photo
You can almost hear her thinking... "And I've got HOW many more feet of this same move?" Nice photo.

View this Photo
Wow... those rocks sure are... Um... Red. Nice photo...

View this Photo
Yep.... he's at the first pitch belay. Good climb, and a great view all along the route.

View this Photo
Gee... nice photo. Whoever took that shot must have really scrambled to get the angle right.

View this Photo
3 out of 5 stars Did ya take this on the same day I saw you up there? Nice photo...

View this Photo

View this Photo
3 out of 5 stars OK, it's a nice photo, but bouldering in Zion? That reminds me of an old quote about a brothel and "going blind." I gave it a 6, because of the photo angle.

View this Photo
4 out of 5 stars This, friends, is why I left Georgia and moved to Colorado. This is also why I'll never leave. Thank you for this picture.

View this Photo
Really cool perspective. Good work.

View this Photo
2 out of 5 stars Would be a better pic if it showed the climbers face... lose the hat, take the pic again, and it'd be a solid photo.

View this Photo
4 out of 5 stars Moabbeth is right on... EXACTLY what I was thinking: "Dang... now THAT'S perspective."

View this Photo
The only reason we look so happy is because the "Oysters" haven't arrived yet. Killer burgers, though... HUGE piece of meat on a bun. Tasty end to a great weekend.

View this Photo
I think so, Shorty... Except this photo is of a slope in the trail, and anne fell on the flat part.

View this Photo
4 out of 5 stars I've got mixed feelings about the photos of all the good rock in the Southeast. One part of me says "Yep... goes to show not all the good stuff is in the Valley or Colorado." The other part of me says "Damn. Now everyone will want to come and climb in NC, GA, etc., and the solitude we had there will be gone." Nice photos...

3 out of 5 stars I'm no photographer, so take my comment with a grain of salt, but the lighting seems off. It strikes me as half-way between a silohette and a full-light pic. Kinda hard to pic out features. Nice angle, though.

View this Photo
4 out of 5 stars OK, so you have to work through the horizontal roof, and THEN climb that gnarly excuse of a face climb? Two big brass ones, bro... that's what you've got. I'll stick to my splitter cracks in Eldo, where I can at least look good while I flail. Great photo.

View this Photo
Wow... Polished rock. Nice angle, though.

View this Photo
4 out of 5 stars Actually, the lens flare is kinda neat... there's a beam of light (follow the dots!) that heads from the sun to the climber... kinda like someone is saying "Hey, look over here!" I like it.

View this Photo
*sigh...* ANOTHER butt shot? ;)

View this Photo
Sweet jeebus... That's a heck of a photo. Tell your friend for me: "Nice... very nice."

View this Photo
Hoofers_andy: They sure do look deep, don't they? But if you notice the snow where I sunk them, you'd see they're really not all THAT deep in ice... maybe three teeth or so. It was a super climb, though.

I'd be the one in the boat, sipping a rum drink, getting some sun on my paste-white legs, and spraying about "Oh, I could climb that... no problem... yeah, sure." ;) Nice photo.

She's 16?!?!?! I could go to jail for what I'm thinking (unless I was in Alabama, then I could marry her.)

I'm getting too old.

View this Photo
Give the fellow a break on the caption... profile says "Iran" and I'm willing to bet his English is better than your Farsi. I could be wrong, though. Good perspective on the photo, but like others, I think that crack is protectable, but I don't know if BD ships cams to Tehran... Nice photo.

View this Photo
So why the long face? (Sorry, y'all, but SOMEONE had to say it.)

View this Photo
4 out of 5 stars Holy mother of god... that thing is big.

View this Photo
I've been on this route, and it's true: Long run-outs, neve testing, and actually a little scary. NC climbing is famous (infamous?) for it's traditional ethic, and bolts, when found, are few and far between. Good climb, and a good photo.

View this Photo
THAT is an awesome shot. Awesome.

View this Photo
OK, so it's been YEARS since I took German in college, but best guess: "This is the first climb of the route Red Hand, a wonderful route that is the direct of Wild Man. Above is a glued Top-Rope-hook..." (and this is where I get lost.) Cool photo, and the lighting is great.

View this Photo
