Great shot Phil. Did you blur and change levels at the top? Looks like an unrealistic depth of field but I could be wrong.

Awesome! Love the detail in the shadows. Prefect exposure.

5 out of 5 stars Yea there are some pics with some more interesting positions....tho I think this was the best in composition and scenery wise. I will post another when I get the chance.

ps: any idea how I get rid of the 5 stars? I accidentally clicked it now I can't get rid of them?

Thanks fabe. I was all set up to take heaps of photos of Smelly doing this climb but he shot up it in no time. The light was perfect too.

5 out of 5 stars Well said thelawrence.

In traditional photography (ie: not on the computer screen) the mounting board, usually black or white, is used to contrast a photo or help enhance certain elements. Here you only get one one choice (the white background). I will mount this photo on black...hence the black border.

The Helmet? Helmets save lives. But I do feel it would have been better without one.

The top of the climb is around 3 meters higher and the bottom is hmmm....maybe 10 meters. A would have used a wide angle lens if I had one...can I borrow some money? :)

Thanks for taking the time to comment on the pic.
