He must have really really enjoyed that climb :-p
Hey i was just on that little mtn in the background last weekend. Ofcourse i visited smith rock too but only to hike and wet my apetite cause i have a fractured wrist - or so the orthapedist says. What does he know. Heh like the shot alot
Now this is why i want to go out there to climb
whats the big tube all the way on the right?? Big Bro ??
I would crop the washed out part on the right. Otherwise i like the heel hook. wouldnt mind seeing one of you moving off that if youve got it
I like the intensity of the facial expresion but i think the shot needs to be a little bit wider so you see what he is glaring at. Also if the background were a little bit sharper i think you would get better contrast between the rock and the guy. My 2 cents
looks like something from the mars rovers. nifty
Haha i remember that looked sooo much bigger when i was a kid
excellent route thought mad easy up top. this was my first
wow thats gorgeous. looks much diffrent in the winter than the summer.
Looks like the some of the older bolts at Quincy Quaries in boston
It almost looks like its totally flat and the roof is a little mountain. sweet job and sweet pics
haha keith way to represent BU at rumeny
haha the tarp looks like a cape :-)
that right there is the best thing to ever come out of south carolina
Haha that is awesome! Nice catch
sweet, captures the moment
I like it. Wish the contrast was stronger between the green and brown tones. A bit washed out in the upper background but nice overall
Great picture of the climb.
haha nice "Oh sh*t their is nothing here" face
Tim's always doing stuff like this. Good to see you guys still going strong...its flat in IL
Whats with the bolts being so close together??
Im surprised this isnt on the front page yet!
sweet jesus that there is a pretty line
nice send, but i dont think chuck is a chick from the looks of him
wow that looks so dry. when i did it it was still seeping. Its listed as a 5.9+ in the new guide, which is total bull. nice send
that is awesome! how has this not made front page yet
it could only be better if it said NOOB afterwards
haha thats good. how much did that thing weigh?
bottom is thin hands and is definately not the crux of the climb. Gets wider than a #6 above him. There is no bolt and its not too run out. definately would not hit the ground.
that has to be the sexiest picture to grace the front page in a long while...i can only dream of sending that hard. stellar
wheres the rack
man is that really bolted???
im kind of curious how you shot this pic. Ive done perferator next to it and angle doesnt seem to be off the joint anchors.
wow at least the core is intact
very nice. i see the snow has melted a whole lot since i was there in july.
i like it, though the belayer looks confused from this angle.
yeah definately worth checking out, its easily one of the best splitter type cracks ive climbed in the south
For a second this looked like the Great Arch at Stone Mtn. and i kept wondering how it got so steep!! Sweet looking climb!
a cooling tower for a nuclear plant i believe
That is a complete cluster of webbing and cord. 1 or 2 pieces max, anymore and its just in the way. Id be more worried about the single looks like rolled steel ring. Glad people got down safe, thunderstorms suck
