I really need to get on that thing, getting hot now though..... maybe in the fall.
the dark water looks ominous - Scott
I love this route, done it twice and always stop to see the views.
sweet shot. i'll have to jump on it someday.
that's a sweeeeet crack.
clean clean clean clean. :-)
fun moves on that one, and nice clean rock. good one aaron.
hey dude i think this boulder just moved:-)
would be better without the runner or cheesy slogan
infernal arete. finally got it when i looked at it like a long boulder problem.
i dig the colors (cool picture even if it wasn't my hand).
you need big mormon balls for the next move.
love the facial expression.
lots of stress and strain, lots of effort and determination. nice route aaron.
looks like your awfully bored in utah :-)
aaron you should of told that other belayer he was watching the wrong guy.
cute, reminds me of my daughter.
very cave man teeth in the fleshish sort of image. love it
very asthetic route, the water is a nice touch.
it's a real shame to dirty up a beautiful picture of rock with such an obvious sexual flavor. tisk tisk i just can't bear to look at it.
the riff to "boys of summer" started playing in my head when i saw it.
maybe someone just had their bike stolen?
i hope so
aaron are you hanging on one fist jam, ouch. sweet pics and route man. makes me want to climb harder.
looks like a sweet route, i'd like to get on that one.
glad to see you back in the iso. news bulletin jeremy.
beautiful man, beautiful.
hmm. what country or state does that shape remind me of?
is that route going up and left close to the arete or slightly right and to that big chuncky looking crack?
you look relaxed, like you have nothing to fear :)
i need that crack.
looks like nice, clean rock josh.
were you there sunday, i was in icebox, you may have heard my drill.
pretty colors, too bad it's not just a little brighter. must have been a nice one to watch.
holy crap, you need a sherpa or a llama or something, did you use all that gear?
looks like nice clean rock there
looks like another shitty november day in arizona :)
i love her smile
i wish it was roaring like that all the time
aaron, sweet picture, i wish you were still around the phx area it was good being able to climb with you
i like it but wish their was better detail. the size of the climber give good perspective.
i have climbed it - several times.
what is this route? route info coming?
fun looking route, i need to get to sedona soon.
sick sick sick, i can even see the splatter man, jeeze wipe off the shoes. it's a funny pic but i had to rate it a 1 just for disgust factor.
i don't usually like bouldering pics but this one is nice.
funny. too many people in one party for that route.
i think that's the most gear i've ever seen you wear.
great pic, don't see many climbing pics with snow falling.
death block? i hope you didn't just leave it there? I've removed some, will clean it again when i go back.
Is that G.W?
quit your gripin it's bomber. ;_
cool, looks like a minature
i can't tell where the rock ends and she begins.
good, the pics i've taken have turned out too dark.
i can't rate boulder problems, felt like it would be a 5.10+ section on a route.
great pic, especially the facial reaction but comm'on, the fall doesn't look like 10 meters and it seems he's got a long way to go before he's 1 meter off the deck, unless the rope is a bungee.
quite a shot. seems more run out than necessary. maybe one of those cases where stoping to place is worse than just cranking on.
must be alterted in some way, climbers aren't that pretty.
now that's crack climbing!!!
i can't tell for sure but it looks like he may have soiled his pants.
the route looks so juggy in the pic but i remember that long day we put it up how much i struggled on some sections. glad it's being enjoyed.
i'm gonna have to try this one out, sounds reasonable to me.
i don't see any pro in this pic?
i've always been a sucker for shadow pictures
those flakes don't inspire confidence.
i like the long shadows and late day color., makes me think of some long climbing days i've had when you have that tired but accomplished feeling.
holy shit, great pic.
what's the rope fer?
looks like the bearded guy is shooting smoke out of his nose.
that right hand looks a bit painful.
hmmm, if only i could see where the holds were. good pic though
beautiful and sharp
i feel sorry for your tendons and ligaments
no, we sling coatamundi and prickli pear, also occasionally big horn.
why the bolts when you have a perfectly good christmas tree to sling?
love the rock color, like desert camoflage. i gotta get back out there.
it doesn't look like he should be sticking, must be using them suction cups at the hip.
climber is too dark, could of been a contender.
i see the beer but where's the guitar?
nice color, looks fun.
such a nice route. the pic is before the crux as i remember so, did you make it?
love love love the color - his shirt is a nice contrast too.
sweet, i feel like i'm there, like the rope is coming to me.
did you do it in one day?
love the color but was this tilted? the quick draw on his harness makes me suspicious.
that boulder you're lifting looks heavy.
nice pic, cheesy description.
i like photos with "distracting crap" it's real life, brings me there. not all pics should be a cheesy poster. when a pretty girl is in a pic some folks react by being less critical of the photo and others become more critical.
the princess looks like more of a bitch to me (spire).
getting above the cam shown in the pic always seemed like the crux to me.
deserves more detail/resolution
reminds me of watching my wife give birth.
have you been to the base? what's the rock type/quality like?
best picture on the site
that looks friggin steep and hard, don't forget to put up some easy lines for pansies like myself:-)
ominous, love it. what's the route?
nice shot, why the hell haven't i been there yet?
it's called First Born, 5.8
finally a picture of this thing.
i hear "Boys of Summer" in my head when I look at it.
have you climbed the cone behind you?
what would be wrong with putting a line on him for safety and running it behind his arm or something. seems like a lot of risk for a picture.
looks like a sweet route
ok, now what?
Spit before you fall or you'll have no teeth at all.
So many pockets so little time.
this one is overbolted.
weeee, nice shot.
good call on the name change.
what's the pro, a claw anchor?
well fine, same to you too buddy :-).
don't know why but i like this picture. maybe it's the hat?
love the pic, i've done the route three times and yes the first time i think i ended up here too.
is that a smile or a grimace?
it does look fun
i can almost taste the rock.
your right. stay away it's too dangerous. i recommend you stay at home where it's nice and safe. I will be out having 99.9985% fun.
josh i challenge you to climb up to it and try to remove it.
don't worry your ankle is safe it's too steep.
definitely deserves higher resolution. great pic, fun presentation.
that crack to his right looks yummy.
would be more beautiful with floppy ears.
center crack is further left, also a fun line with great pro.
damn that looks sweet.
it's a gri gri, who cares which hand i'm using.
you guys are right, how dare i endanger my climber by holding the rope with my left hand instead of my right. oh by the way, both of my shoes are untied too and the sky is falling. you should all sell your gear and take up curling.
the fifth ascent? are you kidding me?
visionary. awesome. inspiring. definitely a 10
nice work mark, i tried this one first too but i just couldn't manage it, i'm weak and inferior.
this is why i love the supes, choss or no choss.
sweet john thanks for all this hard work on the topos. i haven't been back there yet but i sure plan to. i love the supes.
manny you really should act your age, i mean 52 and climbing 5.12? Shouldn't you be fishing or something?
nice looking crack but i can't force myself to like the pic because of all the chalk/wear.
i feel off balance just looking
i like everything about it
what the hell is this doing on the front page?
Jaw dropping wowness
on the front page? Buildering is to climbing as graffiti is to art.
holy tricepts batman
this may be the ugliest picture on the net.
would like to see this bigger. i love this climb.
the late day sun is beautiful from that location.
MMMM fossil creek.
I thought this was a porn free site? ;)
my annihilator drill was annihilated by rockfall while cleaning the rock. suckola
is that sandstone as bomber as it looks?
i don't think this is quartzite, looks volcanic, probably rhyolite.
only 1 thing would improve this pic - a tan
i need to get on some basalt again, looks like a fun route
Do you have 2 #7's on your rack? oh wait, you can't get a #7. shut your hole unless you've climbed it.
id say your finished
great pic, hope he pulled it off
did he barn door or what?
sisters look worried
rock looks bomber
am i missing something?
should have left it, still good for another 15 years.
should have left it, still good for another 15 years.
you mean people actually name routes on buildings?
some of us care about semantics, some of us climb.
trsa. i did the fa ground up
take out the word with
there's quite a few big beatiful domes in that area. sure looks delicious
looks like the thing just erupted. cool rock
the decent rappel finishes in the shadow around the corner to the right.
scary runout 5.7 or 11b, tough call.
is that guano?
nice contrast between beauty and cheese
where is it it's beautiful?
only slackline shot i've ever liked
is this a solo?
like it lots
does she have a matching helmet for every shirt?
a fun rappel after a crappy route but i remember the view was fantastic.
what the hell did ya do that fer? i'm glad i already lead it when it was 5.10.
incredibly cute, i'll bet he does 5.12 easy
gets the idiot award.
there's gold in them thar hills
wish i had pipes like that.
makes me tired just looking at the pic
i generally despise bouldering pics but this one is actually very good
a good study in anatomy
nice one marissa, you have a knack for capturing the moment
i really like the moment captured
actually tim got the first ascent of this one. if you want to name a route there's plenty of fa's to be had out there, you can call it whatever you want.
definitely a sport/boulder hound, not fit for trad. but cute!
i stand corrected. the respiratory system of bull mastifs and similar breeds typically does not facilitate rapid breathing.
that is seriously amazing. makes all the climbing pics on here look like a waste of time.
i wish i could have been there to see it.
the image makes me smile
you need a fleece
awesome pic marissa
aaron, is that really your wife? You've come up in the world!
looks thin and steep. how's the rock?
pretty good for a bouldering pic
it's fun for a sport line (i'm just a bit biased). nice crux shot.
i like it but a bit dark. he definitely looks like a mantis.
where's the smile?
best rappel I've done, don't forget to say WEEEEEE!
an improbable looking but stellar pitch! thanks for the lead.
a good picture is one that makes me want to be there, and this one definitely does.
where is this?
ditto, amazing, makes me wish i could climb it
that's one convoluted face, one of those walls that looks like it will have a lot of features and be moderate but aint.
dude needs a cheeseburger or somethin
nice looking route
actually doesn't look that bad, although I sure would like to back it up in that crack further down.
looks like a drilled angle. hmmm, would i rather fall on a knot or a rusty drilled pin?
the start looks kinda mean
say your prayers!
rediculous, makes us weak men feel inferior, please delete.
reminds me of my daughters first climb. great pic
nice shot, good looking wall
nope #6 tipped out, bigger than it looks
i loved that pitch
Hey manny, what did you think of the slopey flared crux area below the chimney? I found it pretty much impossible.
Extend your runner on the bolt under the first roof to avoid rope drag above
I don't know what you mean, this is great pic. I sold the original to urban climber and I think they plan on using it for the cover!
that route must be pretty clean by now
yikes, you've lost your head!
It's above iceberg lake, to the right of whitney. The stud is mark who led the thing, I was groveling up this thing crying like a schoolgirl!
This picture reminds me that, whatever other types of climbing i do, they are really just small branches on the mountaineering tree.
tasty looking choss
Nice pic and congrats to you both.
superman strikes again!
Aaron, your wife is inspiring!
Not bad. It's important to make the most out of what you have.
I figure if I keep having kids I should be able to get a belay any time of the week!
This one should definitely win some awards, and on sandstone no less!
No Manny, you get the hands-free belay penalty.
That's ok, it's good to have company!
Sweet shot, great timing with the clouds.
The scenery looks a lot better than I felt, whew what a day!
Who's the hot chick?
I know I lost my keys in here somewhere!!
Added a bolt! How dare you!!!! ;)
I like the back up knot, definitely need the xtra security for a baby.
Thanks for another exciting day Mark, we'll finish it in the fall and in better weather.
I wouldn't say he screwed me, just didn't want me to lose out on any of the thrill! It's like two people leading.
It captures the way I feel sometimes on sick exposure, nice image.
i'm not into cavendish, whatever that is.
Nice pic, does it stay at 11-?
No, perfect temps.
Why can't I look that relaxed on 11c?
re: Ignorance is so damn easy for some.
cool pic! What's the descent like?
rebirth is always painful
Is that near the dromedary?
Love it. that's a world many of us will never visit.
looks hard but better than typical sedona quality rock
Better than we both expected, especially the 2nd pitch.
Yes there are anchors on top, you can rap down all the way following the route
Which gym is this?
No, she's mine!
Good form Manny
Did he get out?
Sloppy fists.... poor girl.
wow, nice work guys!
