OOOH...I bet there was no hesitation on that leap...The landing is soft as sand.

I like the tree!
Looks like a nice ledge to bivy on!
I wish my back was that strong!
Beautiful rock, nice stretch, perfect green on the tree...what more couldja ask for?
No rent, great view, enormous kitchen...my kind of pad!
Well, Grrrrrrrr yourself!
The chalk puts kindofa glow on that ledge dontcha think? Almost as if God herself was there rootin' for Jolie...
crazy frame with those trees, very photogenic route...
I will start to climb trad tomarrow!
that's one funny shaped rock...
Greys, Blues and dark green....oooooooohhhhhh, aaaaahhhhhh!
Oh, THERE you are...
Hey, I've been there! One of my first 5.10's!!! Yahoo! It's a fun one with a beautiful approach scramble....
will you marry me?
2002, A Space Oddessy
my friend chet is a gorilla humper...good pic.
without a rack it's called buildering...ha ha...photos coming soon...
Yea, he's gonna get it...love the snow. What a refreshing end to a sweaty problem
I was on my way down to Mexico a few months ago and Andria, via RC.com, offered me a place to stay if we passed through Tucson. We didn't. Now that the trip recently ended and having no other plans, I temporarily relocated to Tucson. I have been trying to reach this hospitable soul, but to no avail. I now know why, and it is with a heavy heart that I end my attempt at correspondence. Though we have never physically crossed paths, she will weigh on my mind every time I set foot and hand on the desert crags of Arizona...
deffinately worth the LONG hike and approach...but don't tell anyone!
like a diamond in the rough...
gotta love that smith rock chalk....
it's a river-side...
is that true? About the wet sandstone I mean...And do you mean strictly for protection, or for holds as well?
Anyways, nice pic 'cept for that nasty chain
thailand is cool
Wow...since my first 10a trad lead the rock has changed drastically...or maybe I was too gripped to notice all the pretty colors...
there are more than 9 bolts...no, really.
jesus christ, what a man!
love this problem...it's ALL about that heel isn't it?!?!
...V1 maybe??? unless you started on yo ass
yeehaw!! What a good climb...at least my spotters were spotting!
such a fun problem
Whoa! Jason is a cool cat...Unfortunately he is in Jail right now in Idaho...If anyone is interested I have his address, he'd love postcards from the Sierras!! PM me or e-mail: email@example.com
Yeehaw! I got on that thing just today...my first time evr at Table Rock. I am staying here for a month and would love any and all partners. Call me at 345-9113 until mid May, ask for Vic...
Yep, it's a beauty! Probably my favorite climb (so far...) in the Creek. As far as I know (which isn't saying much) the offwidth to the left is unclimbed. Also, the thin-looking crack (it's actually mostly hands) to the immdiate left is not in any guide book, but has surely been climbed, at least on top rope. Nice pic!
wow...I saw that thing last month and said...NOT THIS SEASON!!
takes me back...I did this one pad-less and stoned in tennies under a full moon. Not bragging, just think that the pad people hurt the photo.
one of my favorites in the happys...I made myself do this one before climbing anything else there everytime I went...
5.11 if you can't hand jam, 5.9 if you can. It's deff. worth the walk. There is a rad two pitch thin-hands 5.11 to the right around the corner
still private property, but the owner is allowing climbing here...keep a low-pro and clip away!
Ha ha, thanks Char!
yep, that's a fun warm up! It feels taller than it looks too!
traversing right on the ticks is impossible near the end! has it even been done?
Long reaches between good fingerlocks, or shorter reaches between ringlocks. Ouch!
Sorry it is blurry. I just posted it to give an idea of the height of the wall.
Ed Abbey would be proud...
God flan you are gross...but I'm glad it was good for you....
I fucking hope it's thinner than it looks! That pic was taken from pretty far away and you can still see the crack clearly...in Indian Creek you would try hard to avoid a crack by that description. I wish I had more time to go explore...I haven't been back since i took this shot!
It's just a quarter mile north of the Aspen, right above our driveway!
We've done two speed runs up the right side...40 mins from car to car!
shut up flan i hate you.
dude, you can totally whoop this problem!
you look like a hippy, stephen!
Climb overhanging jugs, to a mantle, then gaston the thistle!
Yep...move along...nothing to see here folks. Look out for the skinheads, cows, and fourwheelers on your way out...
what route did you take to get there??
being in harmony with oneself, nature and your crashpad....
sigh... mountain adventure camp...
looks kinda runout...
YEHAW! Nice pic! My favorite problem ever!
good work...I was wondering how people were getting those crazy hitches and knots outta this thread. Way to be right!
Last time I checked, the Sawtooths in Idaho were jagged as hell! LOVE the shot. Lifestyle portrait winner for sure. Send to climbing mag!
whwew...I thought a had to quit drinking beer and eating lasagna after I got on this one...Glad to hear someone else thinks it's a bit harder that V4
dammit!!! I wanna go! I was on my way, when suddenly my fourth gear stopped working! AHHHH! $1500.00 later here I am back in Idaho saving up ONCE AGAIN....
what shoes is he wearing??
it looks like a whale is rising outta the glacier to swallow you! Good pic!
It's on my list...
Nice pic sean!
I'm really not a grammer nazi, honest, but it's Jim Donini (w/ an O) and if you don't know who he is, well, find out.
I know why she is falling, her pretty slippers are all grungy!
I see a bald spot forming!
holey fijoles! that's what i like to see!
hi res please...nice looking mountain, classic!
shoot, I downclimbed that the other day. Phhhbbbbt.
I'm all about the I.C. tape gloves...if you are there longer than a weekend they are as necassary as cams...almost. I didn't mean to talk trash, it's just that Jim Donini is a hero of mine. Actually got to climb with him for the first time at Indian Creek also. Way to get on a hard route!!
...unless they are being climbed on...
Jorg, you are the sht but buildings in a climbing photo suck. sorry...
cool pic...I like the perspective and the color a lot...
Dude...not scary at all, the ball will totally cushion your fall!
Pics like this make my grandmother very confused
are yoo standing on the ground?!?! Just joking...cool looking boulder. Now you gotta make a jump problem to the lip in the middle of the face!
Holey Moley...Ive been back there to do that route like three times, but keep getting distracted on the astro domes. It really IS right on the edge isn't it???
red and green, like christmas, except not at all! Good shot!
way stoned brah
the enchanted land of Phallicies
Yowza! I Like It! I thought they were boulders at first 'till I saw the climber...blew my mind! WHoopie!
Ed Abbey would be proud
Awsome shot! I love pics where I have done all the routes visable...I feel so cool...I like how you can't see the top or bottom of the rock. Makes the wall seem much bigger somehow. Nice.
Gosh, I gotta get on this next time I'm at the city. You can tell how steep it is in this shot relly well.
Adam, I love you. Have my children, please?
this is perfect for the fourth photo assignment!
I can't find anyone to take pics of me on it, let alone climb it w/ me, so this will have to do for now...
One of my FAVORITE problems in the milks.
dude...you just gotta do this thing in lycra...I'm with you bro!
wow. you are really very beautiful.
been there...done that...after like, three hard goes...nice moment.
jeeze, w/ a better camera this picture is magazine quality! It's fun to look at and captures the spirit/scene of the place. Nice job!
that prob is hard...nice.
dude...it is the hardest of the hard...blood and tears and swearing all in that little cave...
reminds me of the unexplored bouldering in McCall, ID...treasure and protect it!
looks crackless to me...
it looks like someone inserted a dinner plate into his shoulder...
damn hippie ravers
fck yea cullen!!!!!!!! Looks just as good here as it did in person! Amazing. It was well worth it bringing all your photo gear up eh???
aint it perty....
Is that snow on the edge of the water??? or part of the reflection?? (at the top of the frame)
The FA was done...Ground UP...by Tom Addison and Greg Jennings in 1991...It seems like Peter Croft didn't mind their style 'cause together w/ Marty lewis they made an extension to the route later....
I heard that it's really easy to get off route...hahahahahah.
Jeeze, way to go Cullen. Great choice using black and white. This is probably the only problem/area where I don't mind the graffiti..in fact, it kinda adds something (in my opinion...)
home sweet home...
I see a helmet...gosh you are such a nerd...hahha just joking! Luv ya flan!
I went back to find this thing on my way to the Yellow Pine Harmonica Fest. 2005, but couldn't spot it anywhere....fck!
looks like a slice off of a loaf of bread...
did you get it??? I think i am the only person i've heard of that has done that move static...?
oh my god. Remind me never to go there...
you will be soon bro...can't wait!
i don't like the lights. There, I said what everyone else is thinking.
You are a basalt addict! Way to go Idaho...
yep...that's me...Mr. Incredible, posing for pictures.
Awesome pic dudette! That's for sure a fckin' huff of a hike. Have you ever noticed the wierd oasis just above your forearm...like some sort of hanging valley? Anyway, hurry up and get done w/ school and come to Bishop!
I always knew you liked squeezing jugs!
welcome to the owen's valley home of the world famous steel, powerline supporting A-Frame...
Good route, even better picture...
cool picture...but impossible scenario...

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! give me time...
Dude, is that Chandler from Friends spotting him?

Yarghhh biotches! Bring on the slopers!
yep, Bishop has been good to me, but this was actually taken before my Bishop experiences took off...Anyway thanx for the kindness!
dude! That thing is HARD! Nice pic too!
John Muir had it right..."The Range of Light"
OK...Yes he is roped up, and yes he is on Toprope...The gear, of course, factors in on the Lead which is how we got the rope up there in the first place....climbing 101.
hahah, that's a funky shot! JAson looks totally sideways! I like split rock in the background
I tried to In cross country ski boots and felt like I was on the Eiger or something, knocking snow and ice off of a 5.6 jug haul. Awesome composition!
I'm totally spitting on Jason in this pic...
i like it!
dude...your ass is exploding...
thanks for your credit card number!
It's hard, but not v9. The picture however is a 9
I like it! Jason...you are lookin ripped. Maybe I should start smoking more...
damn cullen, I am jealous!!! No one has ever wanted to hike out there w/ me to do that route...wanna do it again...?
who peed on it?
the more i look at this shot the more I dig it!
that's a good climb...w/ a good view...wish I was back there.
Makes me wanna grab my moon-boots
I am planning on making a T-shirt (just one, for me) that says "Give blood, climb at the Creek" on the front, then have a bloody hand on the back. I've been looking for a perfect pic for the back and I think I just found it. Is there anyway to get a copy to use for this purpose? PM superbum...
Wish I coulda stayed and tried that thing w/ you guys...
YES! This is gonna hang out on the front page for awhile......
haha!!! SWeet! You are my hero Adam...come back to the eastside!!!
That crux is hard for 5.10...gotta love the sierra old school!
wow...i've been there and those flakes are fuckin loose. really loose. Much better and more permanant routes exist in the Hills...
This pic, while great, doesn't give this route justice...it is Last Exit an .11a Dale Bard route, splitter stacks/tight hands.
I was waiting for the stupid daisy chain comment.
awesome! just did the west ridge...my buddy down climbed the north while I hiked out the normal way...Colleen sure missed out!
looks like a gi joe
this was the only sierra route on my list that I didn't get to do last summer...Lucky for me it's almost that time again!
Yoo look like a preacher.
I will BUY a fat traddy chalkbag like that if yoo gott one...Climbers must call 1.5 friends perfect hands these days judging by the size of modern chalkbags...
I love fat chalkbags!
I think I'd rather have the barrel full of nakid chicks...but I just got out of a three year relationship so I might not be thinking straight. Wait! If I aid climbed it I could HAUL up the nakid chicks! Nice...
Is that Jason???
Whoa...a mountain named after me!~
You won't have rope-drag if you don't bring a rope! HAHaha
I luv this one! Nice Chacos too :)
I hate that you imediately think "danger" when you come across the homes of poor, working people. I wonder if you realize that the Eastside has turned out many a fine photographer that has in turn resulted in gallaries, national recognition and economic boosts to these sleepy little communities that you are so afraid off (think Galen Rowell, or Vern Clevenger among MANY others...). They were probably out watching the same sunset as you, reveling in the beauty and wishing THEY had their cameras as well.
sick! I was just jamming up those cracks two days ago!
it's just vertical, then eases off at the top. Given .12a on the FFA, the rating is more like .11c/d with modern shoes (that fit in the crack...) and cams.
Sierras?? Mt. Russell?? It's near Whitney...gotta be. Keeler??
