Might I suggest dropping the size and pumping up the quality? Great shot though!
Sweet shoes! I for one am glad sticky rubber and rock shoes are around now.
cool effect, you do look like you're soloing some intense some intense sh*t
You captured the action very nicely. High five!
What a fun looking line... mhmm road trip soon, I need to climb something fun like that
Damn that looks painful...
Blurry, but looks like an awesome wall.
20F (-7C) damn, the rock musta been cold...
Where is this boulder? Looks like a nice, warm place.
I like the shot, maybe pump up the quality, make the size smaller?
Is that move really necessary? Can't really tell from the pic, but as a laugh I like to throw lots of unnecessary heel hooks out there, thought it might be the same stylie. Great looking line though. Maybe I'd be able to send it with some more finger/core strength... anyways
If they're old school, the most definately hang on to them. I'm trying to find some ol' school high top climbing shoes... Problem is that my foot's a 47 or 13US.
Tradaddies can climb sport too I guess.
Looks like fun
Like the shot, cool colored rock!
too bad it was cloudy...
mhmmm.... slab!!! so much potential in there!
That's a frickin' nice line...
still like the pic w/out fill flash
Good on you for heading back there...
The chalk can also stop the rock from being polished... what's worse to you? polished rock or unsightly white stuff... get eco-balls if you want something other than chalk
great shot, I love the colour of his shirt against the darkness of the background!
8 degrees? c'mon, that's warm, even for for the west coast. Nice composition on the pic
love the old school shots
here's to home made gyms!
I acutally went higher, but Kurt was freaking out, took some pics and ran back to spot me in case I popped.
like the forground in the pic
It does look really runout, is this the start of the line?
love the hat
like the perspective, you can see way down!
Grew up around farms, so knew to step between the plants. Watering the plants never hurt either ;)
However, you're right farmer doe probably wouldn't have appreciated it.
looks cruel, but fun...
Have a higher quality copy? would love to see it, great shot, congrats to your friend.
wow, "magazine quality"... Thanks!!!
Nice shot, like the car in background
the question I have is, did you manage the traverse without hooking your heel overtop the edge?
yay, sandals at the snow...
so close to plumber bummin'... hahaha, no seriously though, nice shot
I vote for crazy fun
wicked contrast, love the way the rock turned out!
The lightning was miles away sandbag, the front missed us completely. No worries though, I keep my head up for stuff like that. Anywho, no I'm not wearing a helmet, that's my hat on backwards. If you don't believe me, check out my other photos of the tower.
Thanks for the encouragement!
can't say I'm a fan of photoshopped images like this
Was on the arete due to crazy ass high wind. First couple of times I went up, it was next to the window slits. Fun, fingery ledge stuff, but when the wind blew, it was damn close to pulling me off there, so we hit up the arete.
nope, no stairs... hence no easy way down...
not on that day, am hoping to return on either a calmer day wind-wise or with rope/gear to rap off top. inside is hollow with no holds... drrock, cheers!
wicked looking rock
wow, so much potential...
my favorite part of this pic is the foot by the door...
an 8 b/c of the one finger...
Astur, did you not read the description? he was on the first couple moves only...
great shot, man, love all your photos ambler
Wheat and whatever other crop... not grass
not sure whether to laugh or be impressed
Damn, nice shot! I would love to see more quality B&W shots on this site
Damn man, I love your work, and I gotta admit I agree with you about photoshop: when people accuse me of using it, and I don't make my entire living from photography, it stings!
Damn... Curious as to how high up you are. And that's not a swami belt I'm taking it. Either way, you survived to make the post, and it's a mighty fine pic!
Man, wicked looking climb!!! Nice shot too!
Also showing off the Euromullet! How young is that one? No, but on a serious note, another great shot!
Yeah, that's Austrian rock all right. Pretty cool, but I like the granite cracks better. Great shot though!
I've heard the snow can come down like a truck... A big right on to your climb!
Definate ten!!! Damn that's funny
Yeah, very cool picture...
Love the surf crashing in top-left hand corner. Great shot in general, wicked looking rock!
Out of all your shots from this route, this is my favorite! Great job, on both the climb and the photo!
Seriously, what an amazing acheivement to have freed this climb... eh?
kindof grainy, but nice contrast...
Cool shot, almost looks like you're just sticking to the wall spiderman styles.
hehehe... I love the pink sunglasses
Why is the line illegal?
Is that a house on top of that piece of rock!?!?! It would be hilarious to be able to climb into one's house...
Nice shot, love the goofy expression...
Wow, one day ascent. Pic could be better quality though, doesn't do the place justice.
Great shot! Like a Petzl add for the Elios, hahaha, looks like a fun line though.
Hahaha, when I first looked at this pic, I could have sworn you were wearing a life-jacket....
I haven't voted on a shot in a while, but this one deserved a 10! Great use of the fisheye.
maybe it just me, but it looks like its outside (to all of those who said it was an indoor place) either way though, if there's a dirth of real rock there, then damn that looks like fun
Looks like a shot from WWII
Damn that's a hot pic, don't look like a slab from the shot. Don't know what's better looking: the girl or the climb
Love this shot
awesome trust... man what cajones that kid has already
Nice to see an aid climbing shot
This pic is so underated... 10 from me
Great pic, enjoy the expression.
fill flash would have been good here. Overall though a sick collection of photos, keep em coming
fun shot, reminds me of a franklin ad
Hate to be a naysayer, but this photo looks weirdly photoshopped to me. My apologies if it's not
thanks for sharing this pic, I love to see some of the older shots. really have to trust the feet eh? And I don't see any pro possibilities in sight
For slab, a good tip is to drop your heels and use as much rubber on it as possible. here, your heels are slightly lifted. good job on the send
Great shot, love the lighting on his face.
Best female trad shot I've seen
Idaho? wow... there's a suprise
This photo is underated! 10 from me to bump it up
Those are really close bolts, but perhaps for a good reason. That's a stiff looking route, a solid effort to say the least. I like the photo as well!
Another great shot, a great looking climb, and a strong looking climber.
What's the way down? Downclimb? Walkoff, etc?
looks like he's peeling. great that you managed to capture his expression.
This is officially my favorite trad shot, and you're officially one of my favorite photogs for climbing. Great work!
damn.... can't wait to be there. nice shot, higher res please
GRASS TREES! damn those things look cool. oh yeah, nice shot too.
Yeah, poster this bad boy and I'll buy one. Hell, sell me a shot, and I'll slap it up on my wall.
look at those guns... that guy is stacked.
looks like everything is collapsing on Andrew - the trees, the boulder..
When did you climb this route? When I did it three weeks ago the waterfall was three times the size it said it was in the guidebook. I led three pitches through the waterfall. Miserable.
well, the pins and the gear were in the falls for three pitches when I did it, I was following the fixed gear, I was nice and wet and miserable. nice shot by the by
the perspective makes me dizzy... looks like fun though!
I really dig this shot... cool b&w
Is he barefoot?
Totally, like a weird desert planet... cool looking though, eh?
since he's back in the fist jams, my guess is he's got a piece in that we can't see because it's blocked by his body.
Nice shot, looks stiff for 7a...
You post a photo like that: you better expect the comments to roll in... anyways, nice tats.
many of you are all too critical, it's a matter of opinion. And I DIG this shot.
Photos might not do justice, but this one surely must come close.
now you just need another pink, a red, and a WHOLE lot of other gear. G'luck mate!
Check out rock chalk if you hate chalk stains
what the hell is the poster trying to say? I love it either way.
hype -- Yes we all use it... but damn if my crag looked anything remotely like that I'd be pissed. Thanks for the recommendation to stay away from Hueco --> or maybe I'll just use rock coloured chalk, or clean my chalk marks after I'm done climbing.
From what I remember - looks like Shockleys. To the photog - have you thought about cropping out your fixed line? Great shot otherwise!
Man... so lame about the bolts
Don't matter if it's TR, tricky light, great shot
Yeah go poster! Fun shot!
there's lots of good rock, old climbing mag article showered praise on the climbing and climbers there
That's a nice shot
Can't wait. Going tomorrow for three days! Yay Bon Echo. Thanks for getting me stoked!
who gives a $hit if it was photoshopped. Great shot.
great shot trad. how's BC?
glad those gorgeous cams didn't break
adatesman, any chance you'll repull with a strong sling?
I dig the shot
Hi Nate, nice send. We did that line on a -15C day where there was no WAY we were touching the ice. Made it a little interesting with all the 'exploding' holds. By the end of the day, after 3 of us had done it a handful of times, there was barely a hold that had lasted all day.
nice shot, cool colours, and nice composition.
I like the shot too... oh the rockies.
love the photo. and the place looks great from this shot.
