Funky picture. I like the rays of light.
If it were Sean Penn, he would be swinging punches at the camera.
That place is crowded. I'm never climbing there.
I'd recognize that face anywhere. Are you trying to push that rock down on someone?
Now that's riding in Style.
Smile, you're on Canted Camera.
A homosexual gang rape picture makes it to the front page. It is a banner day for RC.com
I like the composition and the fact that the tips of the hemlock branches are so almost wanting to be in focus too. The rock and the background are way too bright though. Burn it in or photoslop it, crop the sky out of the very top and you have a killer pic.
If I'm not mistaken, that's the ledge I passed out on my last time at Seneca. And then threw up off of when my partner started kicking me to get up. Ahh... fond blurry memories.
heh heh heh.... touche'
There's half an ass and god-knows-what-else going on that's tastefully cropped out of the pic.
god love hot drunken women.
dig the jammies.
TJ MAXX just called. They want the picture back for their sale flyer.
I think I saw that guy on the wall at the post office.
The only thing better than a day of climbing with your clone is burning a phatty with him at the end.
Sheet mang.... I was wearing wool knickers in '93. And I'm still wearing wool knickers in '03. Rock on brutha!!!!
Nothing worse than injuring your drinking hand...
I'm wondering if that extension cord is the only source of power in the place....
Nice picture. I wish it was bigger than a postage stamp.
Nice, a rack of racks.
Damn that looks thin.
Awesome pic. I love it.
One harness, no rope, no shoes. Looks like the sneakers aren't even tied...... certainly looks jooky to me.
I'm here to pump.....YOU UP.
We're not worthy... We're not worthy...
You can always guage the age of a regrowth forest by the newest automobile carcass you find.
I can't see so good....
Nice one tracyroach, makes me feel a bit more at peace just looking at it.
It's two short pitches connected by a traverse. Easy climbing, nice views, good pro. The ideal climb for anyone new to leading and looking to work out the kinks of their "multi" pitch methodology.
I dig the juxtoposition of the climber and the people casually strolling by in the background.
I think it is a conspiracy to repress all photos of massclimbers.
Looking for footholds, as you should be on a traverse.
He was growling and grunting somethin' fierce.
Awesome picture. Even better description.
You are correct, Rob. I had climbed up there with my camera and then threw the rope back down. I believe it was TKS on his way up at the time. I was shivering my ass off on top of that rock waiting for him to come into view, so I started trying different things to keep my mind off of how cold I was. I ended up with this.
Film, this was shot on Fuji Provia 100, Canon EOS 3, 28-135mm. Probably f8, aperature priority with a circular polarizing filter
I like this one. A chilly day with no one else around. Perfect for bouldering.
this is an awesome photo. nice rationale behind it as well.
Beautiful exposure. You really can't beat Velvia for landscape shots.
I like it. Sharp focus limited to the region of boldest color. Excellent pic.
Dog slung over shoulder. I love it.
angryenchilada, ya got a bit tangled up in your own pedantry there.
hmmh... I like it. think it's pretty tight for being pushed so much.
I like the framing and the mood. Is this digital sepia?
I love it.
Yup, Cannon trip this spring.
You look pretty damn cute with the dreads. Rock on.
Sadly, it is grafiti. The whole place is done up. Many of the guidebook descriptions use the grafiti as reference points. Urban cragging at it's finest.
Nice work. It's like a tourism flyer to attract climbers to the area.
Helloween '02. That hat's made out of real beaver.
She is on a line that was between GJ and EA, not mentioned in the guide.
You guys are too funny.
ya dude, you're not even close to the top
Is there a little "petting" going on there?
I feel cold just looking at it.
nice work andrew. kevin, it's good that you didn't let go when you stepped on your fingers.
nice, much sharper now.
Use hexes and you too can be cool.
nothing quite like shag motel carpet to make you want to keep your shoes on.
reminds me of an old Petzl ad where an inverted harness is hanging empty at the end of a rope. caption read: Pilot Error
I bet the itching from the peel was worse than the pain of the burn.
That's a stout climb. Nice send.
Such an inspiring picture.
I guess you can add this one to the "Highest Rated Buttshots" list.
Nope, Canon EOS3. Fuji Provia slide film.
The only digital manipulations done were standard darkroom printing techniques. I burned in the sky some to bring out the detail in the clouds.
I lost my third eye in a freak swashbuckling accident a few years back.
Dent in his head? You should have been worried about that third eye.
I bet you could distill a couple pints of Brutus' blood and get enough booze to survive the hike out.
Proof that Orangeoverhang doesn't just take great pictures of orange overhangs. Fantastic shot.
Great pictures, Gabe. This is my favorite of the bunch.
I see a cat.
Nice work, Tai.
I like it.
the color is oversaturated. other than that, it's a pretty badass shot.
Gone are the days of the K1000?
Ever been in a darkroom, t-w? It's a very good shot, all the detail is there. It just cries out for a good ol' fashioned print by hand.
I like the painted nails vs. the determined expression and scummy looking rock.
Sit Shipton, sit........... Ok, just stand there.
I like the framing of this one.
You got one of your short curlies in the picture.
great angle and wide lens effect. tough lighting.
Why did I choose to freeze my ass of in Boston instead of going to T-Wall?
I like this shot. Way to make the best of a tricky lighting situation. I just don't understand the bit about the trees though....
Nice work, Phil. This is a great photo.
Possible caption #2: "I'm not sure if that's a tsunami or a rogue wave, but I bet we're screwed."
Very nice shot Gabe. Good to see pics of friends by friends when I log on.
