Spicers to Teviot 3 day walk 7

Spicers to Teviot 3 day walk 7 (view)

Looking back towards Spicers Peak. The curios foiage in the foreground are what are known as blackboys or xanthorrhea or grasstrees. They shoot up a huge long flower spike, that coupled with their black trunks and grass skirts for leaves reminded the early settlers of aborigines standing with their spears hence the name blackboys.
