Five Open Books and Yosemite Falls (view)

On our way back into the Valley the next morning, we pulled up roadside to appreciate what an epic ordeal we had been through the evening before. I mean, sure, the trail down was wide enough for a wheelchair and the light colored dust made it practically glow in the dark, but hey, we very easily could've crippled ourselves tripping over those big staircase blocks made for easy stepping. 30 May 2005
