James (skinnyjim) goes for the catch on the newest (only?) highline in Alaska. He missed this catch and took a nice leash fall. Sure, technically it's a midline, but highline just sounds cooler.

We hit up this boulder on our way out as the sun was pushing shadows closer to us. Gotta love being able to climb 24 hours around the solstice up here. A good way to finish off an incredible day, and also the only picture of me from the whole time. The drawbacks of carrying the camera, I guess. Pic taken by Winston.

John Saari (sir_climbsalot) breaks the graphics barrier on Snowflake 5.8. My first ever attempt at Out of Bounds, and it's evident to me that I still have much to learn, but that's where the fun lies! Hope you enjoy.

This just looked like a really awesome mountain, and it gave me this cool shot, so I had to record it. Something tells me sooner or later I'll have to drag myself up there and see what I can do. Looks tough, especially on the lichen covered rock in Reed.

this is a photo i snapped of coldclimb on our hike out to snowbird slab. i'd never been there before so john was leading the way. ;)

On our drive in to Hatcher's Pass we noticed this sign and thought it was pretty ironic and funny.

on our way down from our climb on the dermatologist's dream wall, winston decided to pose for a pic. the rock didn't offer any real route, but it did stand out from the rest of the dark rock. it had fallen out from the cliff next to the dream wall.

Here's John working into the crux of Snowflake on an unbelievable cloudless day. We were out from morning till the sun threw the shadow of the mountain over us at about 9:00. Incredibly beautiful, and an awesome rare experience.

This is me on one of the 5.10s on the Dermotologist's Dream Wall. The chickenheads are everywhere, and they make the rock look quite awesome, but the routes are still hard. Pic taken by Jeff (heelhooker) while Kristian Sieling belayed.

Contrary to the description of the Nugget Boulder, there is an easier way to the top than the chimney, but for some, the hardest part may be psychological. There's easy climbing up the rear boulder, and a small gap jump over 25 feet of air. My scanner killed the pic, so I salvaged the silhouette.
