Starting up the tunnel pitch I didn't find much gear opportunity. Eventually I found some tricam placements in the rock at my back. A fun pitch, easy slab/chimney climbing if a bit run out.

Here's Matt (cavitycrew) topping out on Group Therapy. Notice the clouds in the background- we just barely beat the storm that rolled in shortly after we got back to the car. Photo by vegastradguy

During a GroupTherapy session, Vegastradguy gets perscribed 90ft of runout slab leading to the crux offwith roof on pitch5. Now thats a tough pill to swallow. Well done John.

Red Rock as seen from the mouth of the tunnel (pitch 5) on Tunnel Vision. If you look carefully, the hotels of the Las Vegas strip can be seen way past the rock formation. We wound up doing the last pitch by headlamp with an awesome view of the lights of Vegas. The admission price of this view was a $50 BLM afterhours fine.

Did you have trouble locating the start of Tunnel Vision? Me and my partner took a while to find it and the other party we found on the route that day said it took them a while as well. So maybe if you've never climbed this route, this pic will help you know what to look for. This is what the actual start of the climb looks like. Also see the topo I posted called "Tunnel Vision Topo" for more beta...

Since me and my buddy had trouble finding the start of this "classic", i thought I'd make a topo pic to help people find it. send me a PM if you'd like a full size copy. It certainly would have helped me out!

This is where the chimney starts to get tighter at the second belay. The next pitch forces you out of the chimney. It's fairly steep and exposed...fun stuff :)

This is Heather at the top of the second pitch on Tunnel Vision. Doesn't it look like she's having fun. (She didn't like the next pitch quite as much...but she smiled again when it was over)

Here is Heather coming out of the tunnel on Tunnel Vision at the top of the 5th pitch. We both forgot to turn on the stupid headlamps that we wore for the whole climb. It really wasn't that dark in the tunnel. I did remove my sunglasses though.

This is me on the way down from Tunnel Vision. They say the descent should take about 15mins. But when you leave your shoes at the bottom and get sick of climbing shoes and resort to bare feet, it takes more like an hour to get down ;)
