One of the direct Starts for Fathom. This photos on the fourth pitch. If you want to you can combine the third and the fourth pitches to get you up under the roof more quickly. It's in the 10 range but it's run out and not many places for gear. You can use cams from .5 to 2. This route is mostly balancy slab. It was very fun indeed.

Greg leads the third pitch of Seconds, a burly 5.8 at Laurel Knob. Since he's an LK veteran, I left the leading to him on my first trip there. Not long after this shot was taken, this water groove became a waterfall as we were caught in a late afternoon shower and had to bail in the rain. In spite of getting wet, it was great climbing at this spectacular cliff.

This is a great route, we had a ton of fun. this is rob on the fist pitch. That first belay at the tree is about 12 foot shy of a 60 meter rope. we were there the day after it rained the whole day before, and it was still dry. That was one awesome rock!

The Groover 5.8 is definatly all of 5.8! On pitch 4 where you climb up the crack up to the steeper blank, Rob down climbed to the right to a water groove then had a run 40-50 ft. unprotected. be sure to bring plenty of water, we ran out of our 3 quarts on pitch 4.

Annette following Lee up Fathom. This climb was nicely featured and not much choss at all. The hike in was rustic but well worth it once in. The rock is clean and reminds me of yosemite. We can't wait to go back.

One of the old bolts that we replaced on a route at Laurel Knob. The really scary thing is that it was in better shape than most of the old fixed gear.
