Leading up North Ridge. Easy climb, 5.5, with nice pro. Trying to blaze to the top before the rain sets in. (which it never did)

This is the final belay ledge before OPA, 5.9+ R/X at Table Rock, NC. You can walk off through a network of trails if you choose, but OPA is well worth it. OPA is a very narrow overhanging dihedral that requires lots of deep gear placements. I recommend it for the view, the difficulty, and the bird droppings. Brian and Jason have just finished the end of Jim Dandy 5.5 and are relishing their good fortune with the weather. Jason hasn't eaten in hours so he's starting to hallucinate. Brian can't help but laugh at Jason's insanity.

this is my roomate Loz's first time out onto real rock siince starting climbing last September. (I dont think it put him off!)

we didnt have a guide book with us on this trip so just found some bolts and climbed! It did get a bit tricky at times but thats all part of the game!(im still having probs sizing my photos right which is why the quality is not too good on this one)

This is Jim Dandy. Stellar route, the 2nd pitch is the real moneymaker. 3rd pitch is runout, but super easy climbing.

The exposure on the 'Dandy is fabulous. All around fun, except for the high traffic.
