Blackcomb Mt.Description: Climbers: Benjamin Roy Photographer: Rene Deschenes Location: Spanky’s Ladder Blackcomb Mountain, Whistler, British Columbia Dec.2 2002. A whistler phenomena; a cloud blanket covering the valley rising all the way up to the Roundhouse 6102ft. Just above is a pristine bluebird day, a far cry from the white room just below!
I believe these photographs capture the spontaneous nature of the day as well; the adventure and spirit of rock climbing in the Coastal B.C. mountain range.

Finestone Cowboy 5.11dThe route's name came from the first ascentionists rodeo style antics when climbing the exposed roof. A leg over heel scum is the ticket!
