Clouds around Mount ChephrenThis photo was tkaen from an ice route in the Waterfowl gullies area (can't rememder which one). It wasn't until I started rappelling off the route that I noticed the awesome view. Two hard routes go up this face. My partner saw headlamps of a party bailing off of this face several nights before in snow storm. The steep walls of Howse peak can be seen on the left.

Now is not the time to tripcoming up the narrow steep ice/snow gully on the NW Face of Mt.Kerkeslin near Jasper. This is a great spring route that leads el-direct to the summit of a large peak-seldom climbed.

Morning fog on the PencilRay Bernard starts up the base of the infamous feature The Pencil as fog drifts in. This is just part of the 700m route called Polar Circus. Crampon up at the road! Grade WI5 is about 300m further up.

Route on EF Mt. PattersonThis is the top 1/4 of EF of Mt. Patterson in Alberta. My buddy was hit by natural rockfall just above the big rock band. Spent 28 hrs in a tiny cave while I went over the top for help. Check out the stain on the snow where he dug w/an axe to stay warm! Wild epic!! I took the photo from a helicopter. At the time, he's still in there.
