This is Andy sticking the redpoint crux on Movement of Fear, one of the more beautiful routes at Rifle.

This route was "drilled for Jed," probably 50% of the route's "enhanced" in one fashion or another, but it climbs well...

this is a shot of me on fully automatic. this climb is really hard for me, but it's a lot of fun working it!

There's a serious lack of pics from Rifle, so even though this isn't a climbing pic per se...thought it might be interesting for folks to see who haven't been before.

Short and powerful on wild looking stone regardless of it's broken appearance. It's been called "bouldering on a rope" and after seeing folks climb on it, that's a pretty accurate description.

Path is a really cool route, probably my favorite one in Rifle.

Easy to shoot this one from the mound off to the left of the route...except if you're belaying at which point someone else has to grab your camera. So thanks to Scott for snapping this one, on a brief rainless moment after 2 days of constant drizzle/showers.

What a great route, too bad it's not twice as long. About 50 feet with some of the coolest pinches this side of Mallorca. Tufa's they ain't, but it's just a great, fun route.
