Lake Arrowhead in the morning. Of the Gorge lakes beneath Mount Ida. The only truly secluded part of RMNP. No trail leads there. It's backpacking at 12,000 feet over the continental divide to reack the gorge. Or 12 miles through forest canyon.

Ben topping out North Chimney to gain Broadway Ledge at the base of the Diamond (July 2003). Do Chasm View raps instead! This picture was taken right after an uncomfortably close encounter with a high speed microwave sized block.

Took this shot on Sunday, August 1, 2004. The weather was very clear and sunny that day and at least three parties were climbing on Hallett peak.

Me just starting into the first step of Dreamweaver once it constricts down. Isn't spindrift such fun?

Toping out the 3rd step on Dreamweaver, fun mixed chimney, but clawing up powder snow isn't.
