A fun, easy, must- do climb. The Groove Tube. Rai Lay , Thailand.

Just came off Fit to be Thai'ed and opted for a easy lap up this route (can't remember the name).

I was quite desperate because my feet kept slipping and I didn't really have a hand-hold

good route, its like being in the gym only better cause your on the beach

In the failing light the last of the climbers have found their way back to their bungalows or better still to the sand in front of Bo Bo Cafe where mats & lamps have been laid out. From there the sunset is front & center and the Chang or Singha beers flow freely.

I took this picture of my climbing partner, when he came down from the last route of the day. It was a beautiful sunset, which ended a beautiful day of climbing.

Just screwin around at the end of the day. I had just climbed this route, (it was the end of the day so HG lol), and it was my last day, so I figured I'd get a picture of me climbing before I went home. Rated 7a (5.11d ish)

Third day on Ton Sai. My climbing partner wasn't around, so I figured I'd go exploring, and this area was in the shade, so naturally I favoured it at 2 in the afternoon. So I decided to do a bit of light bouldering, to get used to the rock. don't know the grade, it wasn't an actual bouldering route.

everyone does this route in ton sai, not great one hard move at the end, but its not always just the climbing that has to be good!

Still at the lower part of pitch 3 - beautiful line, beautiful setting, amazing experience.
