Lee Cujes on The Simon Vos Memorial 18m 27.

Average Rating = 4.43/5 Lee Cujes on The Simon Vos Memorial 18m 27.

Lee Cujes ticking his well hard project which has now received the very apt name, The Simon Vos Memorial. Simon Vos died in a tragic canoeing accident on the Severn River in northern New South Wales last Saturday and the same day Lee ticked this route. Simon had bright red hair and this route goes right up through the bright orange to red rock in an otherwise ocean of black foreboding rock. Very apt indeed that the brightest section of rock now stands as a beacon to Simon who will be sorely missed.

Ben Sherman cruising up Tripitaka

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Ben Sherman cruising up Tripitaka

Ben finds his way on the first route of the day crimping on small edges. The cliff is nicely set up for this type of picture with the base of the cliff on a steady incline allowing for easy access to these angles.

Not too much activity on this 400m high south-facing side of Beerwah. Plenty of route potential.

Average Rating = 2.50/5 200m Slabby route potential

There's a lot of rock on this side of Beerwah, and most of it would be unclimbed.
