Second accent?Did we get the second accent of this thing? The only other evidence of climbers setting foot on this route was some circa 1980's tat we found on the top of pitch 4, and the cord at the top you see here. The climb was first done in 1968, and This must have been left behind buy the first accent party. It’s so old one end had fallen of and was laying in a rotten heap at the base, it went “crunch” when you moved it and had lichen growing on it! We couldn’t even decide if it was hemp or nylon. All I can say is if anyone had been up there in the past 20 years and chose to rap off this junk they’d have to be Fn’ nuts!

The Slab pitchSimon seconding the traversing slab pitch. All the gear was crap, and the moves past the vertical steps where irreversible. Never in all my life did I want a rack of pins and hammer so bad. At least the belay was bomber.

Scrambling aboutTasmania has lots of rock. Here my buddy Maya and I are goofing around by the edge of a waterfall in the southwest's wilderness. Like kids in a playground.

On top of the AcropolisI find this picture just beautiful. My brother (Dylan) is standing on top of the Acropolis ruins in Australia. The contrast of the sunlight, the dark menacing storm clouds to the left, and his small shape on the pinnacle is very nice.

Acropolis bathed in sunlightHere is a scenic picture of the Acropolis ruins bathed in sunlight. My brother, Dylan, was there in the summer of 2002.
