This was a view I saw of Bear creek on my way up to Mt Abott. I almost had to change directions and climb bear creek instead.

Bear Creek Spire at Sunrise. The North Arete is the line up the middle of the Spire. The granite is solid, clean and a joy to climb.

Achimedes Principle is reason enough to buy a ticket to Australia. The second pitch is 30m of bliss. Unfortunately my goofing off in high school algebra ended my onsight attempt short of the top. Guess I'll have to go back and take the test again. Photo credit to Brenton Warren

This photo shows the magnificant Taipan Wall, the grampians, victoria, Australia. The wall is home to some of the hardest and most spectacular routes in Australia, including the magnificent Seprpentine (29).

Note the climbers on the slab at base of route. The day would eventually turn sour......as we arrived at the summit, of course!
