Second pitch of a two pitch rapel. Windy day. Everything seemed a little sketched. But the Valley is always a great climbing.

After exploring an old mining cave, my friends came across a fake severed head. After a run in with the border patrol about this incident, the head became a part of the family and now resides in the pants of many climbers.

The Fortress is the chossiest crag at Valley, but still very fun. The wall is north facing with a secluded feel. Routes are bolted, one mixed line, with cold shut anchors on all.

This overhanging roof move is relatively height and/or reach dependent.
Although Valley of the Moon resides in San Diego's east county, this wall is technically in Baja Mexico.
