This is the winter sunset by Goat Rock, north of Jenner, CA. The boulders are at the end of the river mouth, out on the Pacific coast. Snapped this gorgeous shot on a Wednesday evening in early March.

Hard-on started at V4 but has been getting harder over the years. Now there is a V10 low traverse.

Mike Crimps the flake on Open heart. I know it is just a hand, but I kind of like the contrast with the chalk and the dark background.

Mike working Open Heart a short V10 traverse at Sunset Boulders in Goat Rock State park. The hold seen in the picture is the only thing on thw wall that looks like a hold to me. But when I try to use it, it feels like some kind of sharp finger cutting torture device.

Not too many real tricky moves, but super long and the footholds are terrible. Hardly any, and if there are a few, they're polished off. Bring your sticky shoes!
