Bouldering around last March. The weather let up for at least 1 day of good weather climbing and 3 day that I was still climbing. All around a good time. I think this problem was only about a V1.

This is me being an idiot and free climbing the duchess route. After freeing a stuck rope it seemed much easier to top out the route rather than down climb. Photo by: Katie Burlingame

Three of us (Mike, Monica and I) climbed the 'Direct South Face', the other three (Tim, Courtney, and... ) climbed 'Bitch in heat' and we all met at the top. Thanksgiving weekend '04

A fun set of three little climbs behind the short wall in Indian Cove. The climb to the right, Duchess Right, was my first offwidth. I put a hole in the toe of my shoe, but I made it up (and learned a few things watching my friends do it after me).

I took this pic back in April on my first trip to J Tree of my friend Charity taking her grades up a notch. What a fun route. I loved the blue sky on white rock.

This is Ralf. He used to be my climbing partner. But he kept confusing brake hand with beer hand, so now he is just my drinking partner. I'm not sure he knows the difference.

My partner Rick, AKA trickster and I tried finding Rattlesnake Butress last weekend but we gave up after four hours. This day, five hours after we started we finally made it and it was worth it. Rattlesnake Canyon is the most interesting place in the Park as far as I'm concerned. The climb IS easier than the hike getting there, the crux for me was entering the chimney.

Taryn makes a long reach to one of the few juggy holds on Silent Scream. (this photo has been photoshopped to improve the composition. extra points if you can tell which parts have been significantly edited)
