The rap off the Corridor Face. Jumbo Campground in the distance. Can also see near the bottom the narrow corridor passage that opens to this wall. Depending which end of the bolt/chop cycle you happen to hit this wall, the bolted rap chains atop Colorado Crack may or may not be there. If not, walk off to climber's right with some exposed downclimbing. 7 Apr 2005

This is a good first lead for someone, easy but a bit of boldness is required. Had fun with the anchor at the top of this.

This is a line I love to do when you show up in the afternoon, because we usually end up at Jumbo to camp. Really eats up gear, watch the loose flake about 1/2 way up, it doesn't enspire confidence. Climber is unknown.

These were some stunning rocks right behind our campsite at Jumbo Rocks J-Tree. The sun had just finished setting.

MikeyD's first trad climb ever! Lovely Josh weather for May - hot and then hotter, with plenty of flies to boot. Great day for a climb, though, nary another soul in sight, which is really too bad when you consider all the work Mike put into the mohawk and sparkle glasses. Ah, well, you gotta get pumped to go up them 5.3's. . . ExtREme!! RAD!! DRINK MOUNTAIN DEW!!!!

This is one of the many problems we got shut down on while bouldering in Joshua Tree.

One of those sunsets you wish would never go away. We took this pic after a perfectly timed rappel to end the day.

The northeast and northwest faces as seen on the approach from Jumbo Rocks Campground. Such a Line and Around the World are on the far left northeast face that was still getting some sun in the late morning. Zebra Dihedral is in the shade on the far right, just out of sight. 17 Mar 2007.
