A beutiful full moon night at Ryan Campground in J. Tree. Much more mellow in this area, and still some amazing rock to play on.

Our first sunny day and first day climbing since arriving in Joshua Tree two days prior- Sarah is climbing a problem here that I can't remember the name of... hence my lame title :P we didn't really have a guidebook so that may be why I don't remember the name... if anyone knows, please post a comment! this is jake on SW corner. the shot was exposed for the sky i got rid of some of the scan stripes and it looks better

my brother on the 5.6 arete. cool route you climb out 10 feet left and then you look down and you are fifty feet in the air!

My favorite face climb in J-Tree, especially nice after a couple of days in cracks.

This is me on the 5.6 SW corner on Headstone. Yeah, so I took gear with me - it was just for practice. And a red DMM 4CU fit perfectly right there. Wonderful climb, perfect weather all day. Props to my buddy Martin for taking a great shot.

This is the benefit of waking up early on climbing trips.
