Not a scratch. Sweet hands for most of the way up actually. And if it turns into a bloody mess toward the top, well then, as some would say, you're doing it wrong. Photo by Andrea. 29 Apr 2006

Crack #6 on Left Side of Isles Corridor

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Crack #6 on Left Side of Isles Corridor

Climber on this overhanging hands-to-fist-to-wider-than-fist gem. Seriously, very fun. Disjoint rope because of the stitch to show the start of the climb too. 29 Apr 2006

Long time friend and climbing partner, Greg Connor on the classic, Invisibility Lessons. The only problem is, He's still visible. I guess He is going to have to pay more attention to his lessons. Photo by Cosmiccragsman 02/13/ 06

Seconding Rubicon

Average Rating = 2.00/5 Seconding Rubicon

This route is awesome!! I was getting so pumped seconding this. I had trouble removing a nut and cam at the crux and my forearms were screaming!! This is one of the best routes I did in the park.

RUBICON of Split Rocks

Average Rating = 0.00/5 RUBICON of Split Rocks

Another look at this JTree ultra classic, with Darrell leading up the striking line that leads to the top, Sheryl catching at the belay, Tina and Sheila looking on at the onsight attempt, and the rock looking like the head of some ancient warrior donning a battle helmet. 30 Oct 2005

Re-learned something today, that motto for the X-29, test flown out at NASA Dryden back in the fall of 1988. Honor the aesthetics we must. 30 Oct 2005.

Aaron climbing the Rubicon

Average Rating = 1.00/5 Aaron climbing the Rubicon

Aaron breezed on up Rubicon after Jon did a nice job leading this "sideways Z" shaped line. This route was a little over my head, but we did a multitude of great ones that weekend.

The Rubicon

Average Rating = 2.00/5 The Rubicon

Here's a shot of the entire Rubicon formation. It's a short walk from the split rock parking area, and also on the way to Isles in the Sky. We did Bird of Fire there, which became one of my favorite routes that day. Aaron is right in the middle of the bulge, probably the end of the crux.

Pre-Climb Send Off

Average Rating = 3.20/5 Pre-Climb Send Off

Okay, I know, it's a kissy picture! But I LOVE this shot! This was Michael's way of giving me moral support before I attempted Invisibility Lessons (5.9) on the Future Games Wall in JT. It was a beautiful day...
