Excuse my pun. That's Lisa about to gracefully exit the steep handcrack of On the Edge (5.11-). Notice the complete lack of gear for the first 50 feet or so. Screwing up there is NOT recommended. 08Sept06

A sweet varied route: begining w/ a dark dihedral w/ good crimps, then out a roof to an exposed stance and finger and hand jams to the rim.

The classic easy route at the Forks,but it may not feel easy if 5.8 is at the top of your comfort level.

Alex's rope has been through it all. Now it's been in Sean's mouth. Here, a very happy Sean styles Waterslip Down. No PSing- this was a high contrast day. The base was in the shade and most of the route was in the sun.

I sat across the canyon watching elvislegs climb Retard's Recess, and wondering when he'd place his first piece. The light was weird and mottled in the late afternoon.
