I love technical summitsThis is Hitchcock pinnacle. We climbed the .7 on the right TRed the .10 that goes over the roof on the left. There was a huge pullout in the bottom right of the photo, so we had a big crowed of on lookers. he he he!

Mother Earth's Finest DetailsA tiny hummingbird sips from a century plant many times its size on a monsoon summer day in Arizona. The blankets of idle storm clouds lying far below us lent a surrealistic feel to the scenery that day.

How is the climbing trip going?Colin climbed down the about 10 feet from between "Cell Block" to "Jailhouse Rock" (~5.4). He then got his shoes wet and sandy so Ann threw him down his climbing shoes. The thumbs up is to say that he is OK, if getting a bit wet and cold.
Nothing like dad's "Mr. N00b" guide service to deliver a great adventure.

Staring at cruxThe second pitch crux is a roof with a fist crack or layback on smooth face and a rounded edge. Took me a few trys to go for it. A bolt went in above the crux (after the crack).
