I took this picture to give a sense of feel for the rock at boxcar. This is the biggest conglomerate I have ever seen.

Hondo-1 attempting Moby Neil. Not very successful. Actually not a very successful day for me at Boxcar. But an unsuccessful day climbing is better than a good day at work. Beautiful day in central Pa. Photo taken by mhashuga.

Rob's Line 5.9 is a very worthy route. We were just passing through the area going home to Virginia and decided to climb. My family and I ended up spending a whole afternoon doing just this route. I need to come back and lead it! You can see the first bolt just above and to the left of Jake's head. The crux begins here and continues until the next bolt.

Scoobs toproping Moby Neil. He is climbing way left of the toprope anchor and I warned him that if he falls he is gonna swing!

After taking the worst toprope fall I've ever seen, Scoob's treated his wounds and roped back up and conquered Moby Neil.

Interesting rock can be found at Boxcar. If you can find it... It's only one and a half mountains from Lickdale. The second one down from the major ridge.

Here is a photo of "The Whale" on the main wall at BoxCar Rocks. Would like to climb the whale's nose.

Here is a view of a section of the main wall. The crack is "pebbles" and 3 feet to the left of the crack is "bam bam" (a face climb). The crux on both climbs is the bulge above the horizontal. The crack eats gear, but watch the placements as the pebbles tend to pop off.

Perry climbing through the Bam Bam crux. This is a face climb on pebbles and cobblestones. The crux is the bulge above the horizontal crack.

Not the best pic, but better than nothing if your looking for the problem. Look at the pics from LOW-gistics to get a frame of reference
