Will the Thrill on Wivi

Average Rating = 3.00/5 Will the Thrill on Wivi

Fun route we made late at night and ended up using the HL. This is at the main area of pig hills climbing and upon arrival you can see this route. The fun part is getting inverted for the hook, first right up is small but good, 2nd is sharp but fun to keep inverted, then adjust the feet and pop up the left. More boulder problems across the ridge on the way! Photo- levi climber- will

Ben starting the 'hang

Average Rating = 2.50/5 Ben starting the 'hang

This is just after the plate that feels like its going to serve you dinner. The next couple move are pumpy as you pull over the face. Andy sent this after being haunted for a season. Sarah made a nice solarprint out a a series of these.

Ben reaching for the top out

Average Rating = 3.00/5 Ben reaching for the top out

Such a fun route. The sloping crimpers are all over. Finding the best holds is intstinctive if you can climb free of thought. The crux is right after the start unless you bug out on the high topout. Check out Sarahs website for the big picture. http://www.insanart.com/old%20sites/climbsite/climbindex.html

Ben sends Chossburg testpiece traverse

Average Rating = 2.50/5 Ben sends Chossburg testpiece traverse

The Pig Hill lowball warm up problem created by Jimmy and Andy. I'm not positive who sent it first and what they named it. It has a nice overhang start, dyno to a jug, stretch to a sidepull, a small finger crack to the sloper squat, a nice sidepull bowl, funky feet into a chossy underclimg armbar and finish with a dyno or a chin hold variation. Im guessing its a V5 or more. This is the best of whats left of "Chossburg" as Tim Toula called it since the new Rt 15 blasted the other area. Ice to Rock in a day and 70 degrees!

Average Rating = 2.40/5 Ice to Rock in a day and 70 degrees!

We decided to take advantage of the weather and hit Pig Hill. We pulled over on the way and got one last swing at the ice. Keith and I switched off his sandals since he didn't bring boots. This is a trick Will Gadd taught us. Climbers: keithfisher and bennevis Photographer: sarahgilkinson
